It was probably all caused by screaming fans seeing Miyamoto on stage, in person, trying to text their friends and phone their family about it. XD I would have done the same though.
This might be the reason that it was delayed to November 2011. it's better to have it delayed than rushed unlike some other games (looks at SEGA games)

Mariokart, hardly any improvements. The wii is just mediocre imo :(

@K0K0Puffz Instead of introducing high quality products, and like the other two companies, they now rely mostly on gimmicks. All you can hope for in the future is another pokemon installment, a direct sequel to mario galaxy, the list can go on. Original high quality third party titles don't belong.

In my opinion, Nintendo's 08, 09 and 2010 conferences sucked. I mean - okay, I get DKCR and a new Zelda for Wii, that's fine. The rest doesn't look that interesting to me and the 3DS is too expensive.
I haven't finished the game because I don't have that much of free time in my hands,but I am 35 hrs in...All I can say is that it is by far the best Zelda game ever,for me.
I don't know if that counts for you,but I can say it easily.
@Lugmillord F-Zero will make a debut in 3DS... well it's just a rumor but there is possibility. And there will be a Mario Party for 3DS, not right now, but there will be, is like Mario Kart series.

well actually that was'nt the case, later on they found out that the wii sensor bar was in a bad position and kind of damaged but anyways we already know that this won't happen when we play it... :p

What's sad is how Miyamoto was going to come out and show the guy how to play the game and then it turned out that the game was not working. Miyamoto sounded frustrated.
After seeing various videos of others playing the demo, I must agree that Miyamoto was getting some serious interference during the on stage demo. Still, it was pretty embarrassing, but at least it was only 1 moment, as opposed to Konami's entire press conference.

@4400seriesFAN I own a Ps3 and honestly I've been using it for everything but gaming. I stopped playing God of War 3 after the second or third boss battle and Heavy Rain does look more like a movie than a video game. I just bought a Wii like 3 weeks ago and I've been playing it a lot. Get Trauma Team and No More Heroes 2. The controls for those games correlate very well with the Wii remote.
I used to be a Nintendo fanboy, and while Nintendo games are still my favourite overall (Zelda is still the best game series) I have to say my wii collects dust these days and I use my PS3 a lot more :L I'm not a PS3 fanboy by any means, I don't bash any of the consoles, but there is quite a lot of variety and there are lots of neat PS3 exclusives that even the wii can't hold a candle to...!
The exclusives are a separate thing from the variety...Yes,it has more exclusives than the XBOX360 but it's more of the same things we've seen the past 10 years...Shooter,ridiculous platformers and 1 or 2 good and new titles!
More exclusives AND variety. the only exclusives M$ has are gears of war 2, halo 3, halo odst, halo wars, halo reach, forsza and forza 2. every thing else can be played on pc.
What is the variety on PS3?One shooter after another,one Racing game after another and some new games...Even the PSN Downloading Service has more variety!
heavy rain is fucking epic, god of war, metal gear, gran turismo, the last guardian, uncharted , resistance, motorstorm, infamous , yakuza 4, Socom, Demon souls, little Big plannet, flower,....FV!CK !
@MOROKOU last guardian and demon souls the only god games in that list the rest copys and the other consoles have the same gamplay ( and better ) o and metal gears solid too :)

Link in Twilight Princess(Wii version) is also Right-handed...It has to do with how the majority of the players can play.I hope they add a mechanism that allows you to change this!

you know i admit this is a bit of a fail. but im very forgiving of it because the rest of nintendo's press confrence was SPECTACULAR and it turns out the actual controls for this game work just fine. heck, compared to microsofts ENTIRE press confrence this coulc be considered a WIN. id rather swing around a sword at enemy's then pet virtual tigers and pull a muscle when running in place! even IF the controls were irresponsive.

I stopped playing God of War 3 after the second or third boss battle and Heavy Rain does look more like a movie than a video game. I just bought a Wii like 3 weeks ago and I've been playing it a lot. Get Trauma Team and No More Heroes 2. The controls for those games correlate very well with the Wii remote.

I used to be a Nintendo fanboy, and while Nintendo games are still my favourite overall (Zelda is still the best game series) I have to say my wii collects dust these days and I use my PS3 a lot more :L I'm not a PS3 fanboy by any means, I don't bash any of the consoles, but there is quite a lot of variety and there are lots of neat PS3 exclusives that even the wii can't hold a candle to...!
