Awesome game, just got thru beating it the other day and unlocking every cheat. This game is even better with cheats on, btw the hammer uses some kind of technological dilly thingy lol, to deliver like 9000lbs of force or sumshit. At first I just thought that main dude was a cyborg or something

first i see that game or hear the name i was meh, but then i play the demo, this game is fun.

The A.I. is stupid but its fun you can destroy every building with a hammer or detonate it, great!

At a second look, I see that the rifle butt did little, so I will concede that it is the sledge doing most of the damage. My frame of mind was that buildings might also be made of stronger stuff in the future as well. Overthinking the situation a bit. Does look cool, being able to blow up everything, just being able to take so many bullets and all pulls me out of the realism presented by the graphics. I dont like being superman in games. just boring imo.

then you haven't even played the game because your no where near as tough as superman, you have the same health as everyone else. If you go straight into battle you die, you have to take cover and blind fire then move up. So get your facts right next time.

i'd say this game because i have prototype and no mater how awesome it is, its just gets boring after you beat it. Sure killing people and all is fun but its repetative and you always seem to be doing the same things. This game i would definately pick over prototype any day.

based on that i suggest you rent prototype and buy red faction. You can get through the story of prototype in a few days unless your getting every collectible... Those orbs are bitches...

lol well if you've been keeping up with it, it was available on ps3 and xbox to download. originally you needed the code but they put it on the counsel, the multiplayer and campaign demo. except it's kinda useless now. it's totally worth getting.

the original red faction was amazing, number two was such a let down, i dont think theyre gonna relive that magic we all felt when we blew a hole in an underground cavern for the first time.
