I genuinely feel bad for Rebecca, even though I'm not a fan of her gymnastics. When Valeri told her to hush that pissed me off, what's wrong with crying when you're in that kind of pain? The more I watch him, the less respect I have for him, after what he did to Vanessa Atler, starving her because she happened to gain 2 pounds after her knee surgery, the guy is an ass.....a talented coach, but still an ass.
@peaceluvcheer97 thats not how I see it, but thats fine, you're entitled to your opinion. Vanessa has said that he was a total jerk who starved her, I can't see her agreeing with you. But thats ok, we don't have to agree :).
@tmwalkerm I didn't say anything about the Vanessa thing, but when someones crying and in pain, a persons first reaction is to calm them down. that'ss what he did.
when i saw rebecca do that vault and she hurt herself like that first i was thinking can she make a come back and you never see rebecca show any emotion so for her to cry like that you know its bad
When Rebecca cried, I cried.. Poor Becca. She never shows any smiling or emotion, but that, wow, changed me. Especially since I'm a level 10 gymnast, I know how that feels. Im not elite yet, but still.
Having dislocated my knee (in a much less violent manner), I completely sympathize with the pain Rebecca is feeling. Hope she has a good and speedy recovery.
@snofagun1814 That would have been more respectful to Bross, but imagine how much it would have messed with her head if she'd been told to wait. An athlete gets all ready to go and then having to stop and wait can really make things worse. Remember in 2003 when Hollie Vise had a delay because they'd forgotten to put her number on her leotard, and had a disastrous routine?
@Beccka it would have been more respectful to the aly sp? girl going on beam - and she was already rattled because of what happened - if they could have waited just 1 more minute i think after bross was gone she could have focused more on her routine
I hope that rebecca gets better when i saw that on tv i was shocked i thought poor rebecca but to know that she will be okay i was very relieved to hear that she will be

God... I know exactly how she felt. I tore my ACL all the way through on a double twist on floor... Gahhhh. So sad for her! :(
