It's very sinewy and a bit sour. The tenderloin parts are rather ok, but takes about 2 hours to stew. The best parts are abdomen muscles, the flavor is kinda between koala and giraffe

The very fact that primates are there proves there are adequate food for humans in terms of fruit, tubers, and beyond that there is no shortage of fish or birds. The Africans were living in the early bronze age in the late 19th century and are now thrust into the modern world. The Africans have not had sufficient time for the cultural evolution needed to live in the modern world and for want of a better term need a "trustee" to run their affairs. They were better off under colonial rule as there was not the civil wars and violence in colonial times.

No, honey. There isn't plenty to eat. Bushmeat is a luxury food item in Africa. The hunters/loggers sell the meat to buy a few beans and some rice to live on. Others starve. Guilty as charged. From years 1998-2006 I traveled & purchased tropical hardwood for use in furniture-making to sell at my company in California. The loggers told me that the wood was "FSC" (renewable) approved and was stamped as such. Now, I am sure that it was not approved. Regarding the disaster at-hand, what can one say? If you DO NOT buy the wood, people starve. If you DO buy the wood, animals/forest suffer. It's difficult to look either in the eye. Yes, I have nightmares.
