I like James Posey, when he played his college ball at xavier, he didn't start until his senior year. Through his hard work and dedication he became an NBA player.
This guy is awesome!! Posey is a warrior who plays to win!! As Concacon points out, he just doesn't seem to care if he scores points or not. But he hustles, grabs rebounds, steals, and blocks!! And he can hit 3 pointers!! A great, great competitor!!
A great defender, hard player, solid shooter. His problem is, he has no scoring mentality at all. In Memphis he once scored over 30, but that was when Shane Battier and Pau Gasol were injured. I compare him a lot to Boris Diaw. Use him as a shut down defender but don't expect him to score.

I heard that the Celtics are thinking of buying out Posey's contract with the Hornet. Only a rumor, not sure if it's true. But Posey was great in Boston.

@oliverrainman True. During the 2008 NBA Finals, he pretty much shut Kobe down. Game 4 for example; Posey was all over Bryant. His long arms had it hard for Kobe to make a shot.
Reports saying Posey's agent was meeting with Danny Ainge!!!

The best back up Pierce ever had that year. I'm hoping down the road, Posey finds his way back to Boston. Delonte West did. :)

I just read that the Celtics are thinking of getting Posey back via sign and trade that would send Glen "Big Baby" Davis to the Hornets.
