this happened to me a few time...I am not professional but I have been in a few drift race and corvette is one of those that you need to get a feel for it...big fat tires with big fat power = spinning when you expect to drift...the grip kicks in just at a wrong time
douchy got scared of being side ways once he put it like that. so he slacked off the gas, and thats where everything went wrong. hahahaha. but the car along with people are all safe, so we're good
I did something similar in my dads crown vic police car. My friend was in the car with me just to go to the store, i don't even have a license yet, Im going through a really big parking lot and i turn really wide and sweepy and put the pedal to the floor. i though i would harmlessly slide... until the tires bit the pavement real hard and threw the car all over the place:D i felt so bad afterwards... i drive like an angel now:)
@171apples171 wow cant even handle a slow as police car... most police cars... always the ford ones top at 150 so always have something faster than that slow shit ... not hard ... ive hit 110 in a 45 in 4th gear in a 6-speed hahaha catch that pigs
He was right in putting in opposite lock when the back end started to step out its just that when he grabbed traction again he needed to go back to normal position.
Ive learned to keep on the gas if the Vette starts to slide but you still have to anticipate when the tires will catch. Some slides come off great... sometimes she tries to spin.
In my Mustang I can slide pretty easily with the live axle but ive spun out once before. Wasnt snap oversteer in the Stang it was just too much throttle and couldnt countersteer enough.
Yea, dumb fucking americans with all their torque, I don't imagine this guy was attempting to show off. Some have it and some don't. clearly this guy don't.
im not saying all dude. calm the fuck down. if you think that a 16 year old driver that has been driving for a year but drives all the time is better than a 40 year old who drives the same your fucking stupid. the older guy has more time and more expeirence. dont act like just cause you drive 12 plus hours a week that you are an amazing driver at such a young age. WITH TIME COMES SKILL. you dont just suddenly know everything
WITH TIME! u said it, NOT with age. besides, older drivers have less endurance than younger ones. newer generations will always surpass the previous ones
What an stupid asshole, that car have something called traction control, its a litle button in the dashboard to avoid this kind of uncontrolled drift. What a poser!

@rogerstill71 you are a moron for saying that. vettes handle like they are on rails.

rogerstill71 10 months ago
@kawizzr14, Erm, a live rear axle, leaf springs and a ladder chassis wont make a car handle "on rails".
R33Racer 9 months ago
@rogerstill71 That's why a corvette holds the second record for mainstream factory stock cars right? Moron.
TiKondaRoga 9 months ago
At worst, bent wheel or two, broken/bent control arms/tie rods. Maybe the composite leaf spring.
A bad day, but the car probably survived.

you learn all the donts on a 5,000 car then when you have pretty much stoped wrecking then you go to the 80,000 plus car, guess noone told him that.

skill caused this

with age comes skill dude. age is everything. if you just got your lisense you are much more at risk and you dont know wtf you are doing
ljdgm 2 years ago
age doesnt cause skill, hours behind the wheel does, thats what im saying
kapoof2 2 years ago
but with age comes hours behind the wheel which causes skill. and even if you have skill you can still crash
