  • The story was awful. The action was awful. The acting was awful. My point is.. The movie was awful.

  • Looks like a decent movie with a ridiculous plot. Could be good when I'm in the right mindset

  • Don't watch this, it's terrible ;)

  • lool i am very talented and open-minded baby ! You not gonna be bored with me

  • An American history of Britain?

  • An American history of Britain?

  • Lmao, all the persons involved in the making of this movie came here and liked it. This is bullshit

  • Lol, the legend is excactly the same as in ''the hobbit'' :DD ''Everyone knows *insert ring or sword legend here* but no-one knows how it began!!''

  • looks like my sick shit

  • oh my god i love lord of the rings, its my favorite fantasy movie, and im about to watch this!!! Anyone have any other movie suggestions that are similar to these??

  • why did you tag scarlett johansson?

  • If I remember correctly this movie was not good at all

  • 0:51 Pherb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @NakedReviewzzz the roman empire fell but they rebuilt new empires all over europe.. i think iv confused you.. basicly in a war the romans never fell just decended into new empires after rome fell

  • @MrRaghead69 So West Europians are............Romans??? Wow you also didn't mention that Chuck Norris is Samurai-vivid imagination..........

  • @MrRaghead69 u need to relearn your history buddy...yes rome fell and no...there are no "roman decendences"..the only ones where Bizant or East Roman Empire..there are kingdoms after Romans, not Empires...and that kingdoms where "barbarian" kingdoms, not Roman...everything that Romans made was destroyed and forgotten...Dark Ages...you know...that era of history after fall of Rome....cmon dude this is basic knowledge

  • @p3ro83 there are no decendences of romans? what did they all just disappear? did the same thing happen to the vikings.. are norwegens not decendeds of viking or did they just disapear too? their empire and things they build may have been destroyed but they wasnt all massicared moron

  • @MrRaghead69 .A main element uniting Germanic societies is kingship, in origin a sacral institution combining the functions of military leader and high priest,. Germanic monarchy was elective; the king was elected by the free men from among eligible candidates of a family tracing their ancestry to the tribe's divine or semi-divine founder.

  • @NakedReviewzzz rome didnt really fall in a way.. they decended to europe and then decendences of romans in europe made empires all over europe like the british and french empire..

  • white magic gandalf

  • My favourite part 1:01

  • meh bad chars, not what i imagined from reading the book

  • accurate historically, nice movie

  • Pass this movie. 300, Centurion and The Eagle are way better.

  • Is this really that historically accurate? I've never read anything about Arthurian legend, but does it show exactly how it happened or is it just based on a bunch of fairytales?

  • Stream'..It.""Now"`"

    It's a great story

  • Cheap movie.

  • i wonder what life would be like if the roman empire never fell

  • @firstar15 If you look at History Rome never truly fell as other Nations have tried to emulate her ever since. The most recent incarnation of Rome is America! I guess whoever picks up the standard!

  • @Weston1968 It's always the eagle haha.

  • @Weston1968 I thought I was the only one who thought that.

  • @FacebookTheMetal yeah at first i thought it was merlin too but then i look for it on IMDB..

  • Just saw it......was OK......good rainy afternoon time-waster..

  • Excalibur is Roman? My arse! Typical Anglo take on history - everything they hold dear must come from the Classical world. Sorry to disappoint people but there were others in Britain and Ireland long before Romulus and Remus sucked a she wolfs tit. Excalibur is a pretty bad Latin phonetic mispronunciation of the Welsh (i.e. Brythonic) Caledvwlch which developed out of one of the forms of the Irish Caladcolc (like the Arthur myth itself - Fionn?) and then became Caliburnus in Monmouth's writings

  • @lisduggan64

Indeed Arthur and the Sword is Celtic, of the Britons.

Bretagne and the Belgae (Belgians) still exist, his kingdom was a Brythonic Celtic peoples of the Indo-Europeans western people and extended his region from southern Britain to North west France (Gaul)

    Hollywoods a joke.

  • Looked like it had promise. Hollywood all over it though and that's a shame.

  • Gee, for the sake of the great, great cast I did want to like that movie, but it was just SO bad! I mean, the idea of the story before King Arthur and all that was quite interesting but the movie as such was really awful.

  • wow aish is here like it <3

  • this movie makes me want to grab a sword and go kill somebody for exp : those 1.113 who dislikes the movie xD to WARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • @11SomeTime never seent he movie and since Hollywood decided to go and fuck up a Brythonic Celtic legend i will NEVER see this xD to WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR

  • I heard this movies is terrible, anyone who has seen it tell me what it's like?

  • im in the middle of the movie and i have to say its a 8/10 i wish the kid was old enough to fight would be 5x better and that indian chick is hot

  • This movie goes on my honorary list, defenetely top 20.

  • @MrJuicycake Yes Aishwarya rai bachan.

  • Is the actress ashary batchen?

  • @MrJuicycake yes...aishwarya rai bachchan in case you wanna look her up

  • 1:57 its t pain!

  • never heard of it

  • this movie trailer is makin me want some little cesars pizza

  • @blade83336 ya

  • @blade83336 i lol'd

  • king Arthur was before the romans came to Britain

  • @sam22ish Wayyyyyyy wayyy wayyy after dude. About 800 years after the fall of Rome.

  • @NoscopeCarnage Actually, most historians believe that if Arthur was a real person, than he ruled inside of a century of the fall of the Western Roman Empire, making it very believable that Romulus Augustus was his father.

  • @NoscopeCarnage @sam22ish in a story about him he defended Celtic-roman Britain from invading Anglo-Saxons suppose it doesn't matter because hes not real but he wasn't '' Wayyyyyyy wayyy wayyy after dude about 800 years after the fall of rome'' maybe a 100 years not 800 years were did you get this from ?

  • @sam22ish Because the fall of Rome was in 476, and I thought the legend was that he lived in around 900 or 1000A.D

  • @NoscopeCarnage i don't know

  • Why are people repeating over and over the fact that Gaius Julius was not the first emperor?

Anyways, I was kind of skeptic at first about the movie, but, after watching it the first time, I decided it was actually pretty good. It's not Gladiator, mind, but it holds it's own.

  • Jesus, the first true emperor of Rome was not Julius Caesar, it was his adopted nephew - Augustus

  • Absolutely the most detestable movie I've ever seen

  • "caliburnus" in latin means nothing; maybe from "Calibi" an ancient gauls' population...

  • I think it's really simple. The boy in the movie is Pendragon, Arthur's father. He found Caesar's sword, he's not Caesar or Arthur. What's so difficult in this?

  • @Onnenkissa isn't Uther Arthurs father? o.O

  • Guys, the Book is way better! lol...

  • Unbelievable movie, great act and storyline. Lucky me can watch it online at Free Movie Zone . n e t

  • No caesar was the name for emperors during the Roman Empire ! Get ur facts straight !

  • most historicly incorrect and anoying movie that i have ever seen in my life!

  • awful film, awful acting .... just awful

  • veni vidi vici

  • Aishiwarya Rai is so hot in this movie

  • senatus populusque romanum

  • so this is the forging of britain??

  • great movie, ROMA VICTOR!

  • Wait a second!! Wasn't Tony Stark the truly one that made Arthur's sword?

  • I absolutely LOVE this movie! We're watching it in social Studies, so I just HAD to find it here!

  • @Tobipuppy no wonder why everyone is so out of touch with reality. Hollywood makes movies not history.

  • @Tobipuppy In social studies? lucky bastard...I had to read about how great Communism is..*rolls eyes*

  • @Rossco139 Ouch. That sucks ass.

  • Cool trailer, but how the f***k did freedom become a part of the roman empire!? Are Americans really so childish that they acctually think that the american dream of "Preedom and liberty" made every existing empire, ever, fight an epic war for a leader who promised them libery? Funny how The Weinstein company rewrites history everytime they try making a historical movie. Hollywood just made a fool of themselves. Again.

  • @carlisthedrummer Come back when you learn how to spell.

  • @carlisthedrummer Not all americans bud just hollywood.

  • You must be joking, directed by the show, embarrassing asynchronous I list a few: a Byzantine already 'Arabized in 476 BC? (Will happen 'only after 1000 years .. a legion of 1 million men?? (The legions had more than 5000 men, fighting ninja, peplum suits 60 years the name Gaius Aurelius Antonio (and many names taken at random ) in addition to the reference aurelio (Aragorn) aims (Legolas) Ambrosinus (gandalf) Batiatus (Gimli) I continue?....

  • this trailer does not do the movie justice.

  • Looks kinda weird...

  • Dissapointing movie......100% historicaly inaccurate, meaningless and a bad mixture of fantasy and fantasy.....

  • this looks dumb

  • best movie ever :D

  • 1:01 :O thats ashwariya roy from bollywood???

  • @nightrockers3319 Yes ... but it's spelled Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ;)

  • looks like a lord of the rings rip off... Looking at the trailer

  • im just not feeling it for this trailer :-/

  • Pretty good .The sword seems valid and is said to be magical maybe to have been a biblical artifact. Gives an explanation of where the sword might be or went. Not bad.

  • King Arthur ripoff

  • it's nothing

  • It`s now on MBC !!!

  • now a days we rarely see a mythological movie which is true to its original legend it is always twisted & turned......... yeah the legend is Welsh but this movie is about King Arthur's father but the fact that Excalibur is actually Ceaser's sword is new but we dont know how much truth is there

  • whoa

  • @reksub10 Arthur isn't English. The original tales come from Wales. Also, not sure where you got Jewish from

  • @zikten sorry your right the myth is welsh but wales is really just a region of england and is moat definately owned and ruled by england ,,i got the jewish bit from the fact it is made by the WEINSTEIN company ,jewish people own hollywood

  • @reksub10 It's not about geographical regions, it is about the peoples who settle them. King Arthur is a Celtic hero, a symbol of their resistance against the invading Anglo-Saxons. While the Anglo-Saxons formed the basis of what later became the English people, the majority of the Celts were pushed to Wales, Ireland and Scotland, so the legend of King Arthur is very anti-English.

  • @blasty137 yeah i agree but the origal comments where made about jewish americans distorting these myths so it does not suprise me that they are anti english as they are meant to be anti monarchy ,that why we have staements in the movie like this is YOUR country ,and empires are built on blood ,,i mean how many emipres have you seen that use blood in its construction..its the same old hoolywood b.s. like freedom isnt free it has to be bought ,then it aint free then is it stupid american..peace

  • movie is lame

  • i was expecting that this will be about how the Roman Legion was wiped out or how did it stop or the story of the last Roman Legions like the Legionaires.

  • Even in ancient times. There was racial diversity and feminism... (rolls eyes)

  • Das ist ein super film!!!!!!!!!!! Bin wirklich total begeistert von dem Film, und habe ihn mir auch auf dvd gekauft!

  • Nothing like the book

  • at 40 seconds in the barbarian is Kevin Mckidd, who plays owen from grys anatomy, he is really versatile

  • it seems they spent more time on their dvd cover than the whole movie, nuff said..

  • wamp wamp 'no charlie brown voice jus..wamp wamp!

  • This is so messed up. Is he supposed to be Caesar or Arthur?

  • @doglover328 he is caesar..this is before arthur...this is just the beginning of the legend

  • @doglover328 hes a Caesar who began the legend by getting the sword that has a prophecy of however claims it rules Britain

  • @doglover328 well "Ceasar" became a tittle given to emperors, so getting the tittle of becoming a "Ceasar" was like getting the tittle of becoming "president" "mayor" etc. so yes, Author was A ceasar because ceaser is more of a tittle, like now and days people call our president "Mr.President" or "Obama" or "president Obama"

  • @doglover328 Romulus Augustulus is king Arthur? LOL

  • @doglover328 No if you watch the ending it will be explained that arthur is the son of the former empoerer Romulus agustus.

  • Comment removed

  • @doglover328 the movie is all about the last caesar

  • @doglover328 Arthur is supposed to be a decendent of ceasar in this movie it's good though.

  • @doglover328 if u listen you'd know

  • @doglover328 seriously? caesar in 400 AD?

  • @doglover328 I think he's Pendragon (Arthur's Dad)

  • @doglover328 Caesar is just a synonym for emperor here :)

  • @doglover328

Wow, how some people cannot grasph simple things...Caesar is considered to be the first emperor of Rome, and even though he kind of seized power, people still praised him after his death. He was considered a great warhero, an example for all Romans, and a brilliant general. A 'real Ceasar' is thus considered a great leader/emperor, and can even nowadays still be sued in speech, just like someone would say 'you're going to be a real Einstein when you grow up'.
