  • I'm thinking its a defective atty or wick to, since they are the best tank system I've tried to date, Phil does good and honest reviews, so can't blame him even if the unit didn't work for him, 2 more atties tanks are been send to him to test out. Another good news is that this review made headlines with BIANSI and they had a big meeting to see how to fix any problem he has encountered with it. Good thing to know they are listening to reviewers and there opinions.

Keep up the hard work Phil!

  • @vaporus1 Thanks for understanding and appreciating the honesty of the reviews. I can and do only report on what I experience be it good, bad, or ugly. I also try to keep in mind how a brand new vaper would respond to the experience. Would they know to adjust the wick? Would they know what to do if the wick fell out on them? Would they know to take out the tank seal? Maybe, maybe not. There is a fine line between successfully transferring to vaping and becoming frustrated.

  • you did something bad or received defectives tanks, the imist is the best tank systeme from far away !

  • Another great review PB! To those commenting on the variance their own personal experiences I challenge if you buy a pack of cigarettes you should not have to look for the filter after you open the pack. Nor should have to put it back together after two or three drags...The biggest barrier to ecigs going mainstream is ease of use for new users so when it comes to these devices consistency is paramount. Simple, easy and a consistent alternative is what got me off of analogs and onto vaping.

  • @eroule2749 BINGO Eric!! You get it!

  • hardest working man on youtube ;-)

  • @evelwmn Ha! Not sure about that, but thanks very much. It definitely takes time!!

  • Cool

  • I got an imist atty kit- came with one tack and two extra wicks and use in on standard ego battery. have to say that it works great for me. does seem to use juice up a bit quickly but very good vape - a bit airy and cool vapour maye but definitely the best tank system that I've used. sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with it - works great for me...

  • @huzcer Glad to hear it's working for you Huzcer! Maybe I got a Monday model. But everything you heard in the review was exactly as I experienced it.

  • @pbusardo I urge you to get another one. this is the best tank system that I've used. It's great. works first time every time and NO LEAKS - EVER.

  • @huzcer Song is supposed to be sending me another one. So we shall see.

  • Love the honesty and depth of your reviews as always! God Bless!

  • @MrOverdoser Thanks very much!

  • Thanks Phil for another great review.

I just know someday they are going to come up with the perfect tank device.

But until then I am sticking to the Boge LR cartos.

I dont wanna have to play with the damn thing to get it to work, I just want to fill it up and vape lol. Hugss

  • @wickedartglass Hugs back!

  • I can understand that... I try to give them a fair chance, but nothing seems to last long term... I stick with carto tanks and dripping these days... Always love the reviews thank you!

  • @P2theJ85 As do I. Thank you!

  • They should just dedicate their time to making cartomizers better it something. These wick tank things are just plain crap.

  • @P2theJ85 Some of them aren't too bad. I think people like these tank systems for ease of filling and convenience and I get that.

  • M8 as a reviewer you have just shown your self to be a total noob and ill explain why. You mentioned in the video about the carts now had you done some research you would have known that its a new design that does not leak yet YOU a man of much experience remove the rubber seal then complain that it leaks. also how would you not know how to fill a cart with a 30ml bottle. then you say about wicking well its easy adjust the wick to drip on the coil easy fix takes 2 seconds.

  • @safercigs Oh well, opinions vary. Let's go through your post shall we? First, I never said it leaked. Second, I did what I did based on a recommendation on THEIR site: "*Do note that the if you are chain vaping and having wicking problems you can remove the small rubber seal on the cartridge/tanks, it will increase juice flow and fix the problem" Third, you want me to pull out a wick that 1) is already falling out on it's own and 2) should work correctly out of the box? Ok.

  • great review, i found though on the ones that dont vape well, to pull the wick down a little so it touches the atty more and that should make it wick just fine

  • @DJbizzum Hey man! What's going on?!? When are you going to get those Stardusts back in. Everyone's bugging me for a review! Thanks for the tip for users out there to try, but you know how I am. Stuff should work out of the box. Besides, they way these worked, I think if you pull the wick out a little, they fall out. Or in my case, they fall out all on their own :-)

Got the Stone II. LOVE the design, look, and price on this tank, but the wicking... oye!!

  • @pbusardo brother then maybe you got a bad stone 2, they are in thousands of peoples hands and very few issues, it should wick like a beast and is meant for 3,7 and below not high voltage, if its over wicking press the silicone down, if its under wicking lift the silicone plug over the cup a tad, or just remove and reseat it, they are just put together and meant for the user to adjust.

  • @DJbizzum I'll give it a shot. I actually recorded a review last night and while it was rendering I played with it some more and got a lot of burnt dry hits so I didn't post it. It HAD to be held upside down to charge it. I found it's sweet spot right around 3.9V, great VTF, but didn't wick well at all. Using Boba's (the death juice ;-) may try a 70/30 tonight. Now if you could get that tank design with a Boge in there... WONDERFUL!!

  • Hey Phil, don't be so sad giving your opinion on products, even it's a bad one... It's the game, sometimes good products won't work fine, sometimes it's just another crap... (I don't say this one is) ... You give your honest opinion and again, that's why people trusts your judgment. Thanks again, I definitely recommands your reviews ;)

  • @MrArj2000 Well thanks very much. It's not that I'm sad, I just understand that vendors are people too who are just trying to earn a living. As we all are. Even though I, in a way, work for you, the vaper, they are always in the back of my mind. I'm not doing this to make enemies or get people angry, but to help the community is all. Believe me, you will always be able to trust me to deliver my honest and unbiased experience with a product.

  • Shame you had such problems with this Phil. I bought an iMiST atty on its own and love it - have heard of wicking problems but haven't had any personally. In fact, it's the best eGo-type tank system I've tried, better than the eGo C. Not much throat hit but great flavour.

Gets dry tasting above 4v but I guess the device was only intended for eGo-style vaping. And, yeah, mine's a juice demon but I'm getting good taste so I don't mind, lol.

  • @greenspagbol Typical. Everyone has different experiences. The atty appears pretty good, but the tank holder and the wick was a complete fail for me and I can only report on my experience. I am glad though that it's working for you!

  • @pbusardo I know some people have replaced the wick with mesh intended for rebuildable attys. You can only review what's in the box you're given - It's just luck that I got one from a good batch and you got some from a Friday afternoon batch. I've had exactly the same experience as you with devices others have raved about, which leads to talking about general quality control in stuff coming out of factories... But that's a whole other ball game. :D

  • @greenspagbol Ha! Ain't that the truth!

Replacing the wick with a different kind of material makes it "fiddly" not to mention having to remove the rubber seal from the tank hole. If the seal is there, it's part of the design and should not need to be removed. Making if "fiddly" again.

It's an obvious design flaw as it's even mentioned on their site.

  • @pbusardo Totally agree on the fiddly part. I was having such problems with the general build quality of attys/cartos/clearos a while back (couldn't get anything consistent even from two cartos from the same box) that I contemplated buying a rebuildable atty. Having fingers which look like a lb of sausages, I don't think I could stand the hassle though.

  • @greenspagbol "a lb of sausages" Ha! Welcome to the club :-)

  • Not to mention if I'm a newbie buying my first ecig and I get this....I'm at the convenience store ten minutes later buying a pack of smokes! Lol

  • @Aerovapor THAT is a problem.

  • Man I need to get one of these magical disappearing wick, fall apart ecigs. "THUMBS UP" seriously though, vendors who sell products like that end up outta business because no one will trust there products

  • @RocksSpock I didn't taste the juice, but the device ATE the juice :-)

  • Hey man. Love your reviews - best on the web. Just trying to see if you've ever done a review of the Cisco/Olympic LR 306 atomisers? All the best. Keep up the good work. Adrian

  • @Adriandobbie Thanks so much! I'm not much of an atty user. Typically, I'm a Boge LR carto kinda guy. I may do some atty reviews in the future, but my expertise and experience lies in cartos.

  • Excellent review as always mate, i bought 2 of these atties and use them on an ego battery at 3.3v and have had no problems with them, i found when i cranked it upto 4.2v which is what the standard batteries are then i had issues with a very dry tasting vape, i can take it upto about 3.6v and they still work for me.

  • @romastino The atty's appear pretty good, but it's the tank holder and juice delivery method that is lacking. Thanks!

  • Well, you can't win 'em all. Despite the thumbs down this is a really positive review, by that I mean that the manufacturer will go back to the drawing board and hopefully do better next time. This keeps the quality of the devices on the market to a decent standard. Thanks Phil.

  • @midnightmosesuk Thanks! Hopefully these reviews can do that for you guys!

  • Thanx for the review its does looks a very promising product a huge shame it did not deliver

but thanx for your honest views

  • @Shaddaz1 Yep, like that you can get to the atty easily. But it needs work! Thanks!

  • u should make a vid of your favorite juices and devices

  • @fuckthisytusername Something is in the works :-)

  • I knew I could count on your honest opinion. Nice vid.

  • @isoplus3513 You always can. Thanks!

  • Song is such a nice guy, awesome customer service. I ordered twice from him, smoktech dct, t-rex 900 mah ego batterie, V3 vapors starter kit (same as the smooooooov kit), juice etc. All awesome, but I guess it's too bad for the IMist! but hey, had the same kind of experience with the ego-t, crap. I hate tanks like that. but i really like their BAH-IN! ;)

  • @genfelip Yes, nothing like a great BAH-IN :-) Song was really nice to me as well. I'm sure they're a good company and glad to hear they have great customer service!

  • Thanks for the review Phil. Saved me from my impulsive buying.

  • @tjsampson00 Ha! Glad I could help!

  • Thanks Phil!

  • @Sintanous NP!

  • Awesome a Monday Video??

Don't worry I wont get spoiled.

  • @cavibird2005 Ha! I get to them as soon as I can. It's taking up WAY MORE of my time then I ever expected!!

  • nice heads up on this device Phil! thanks

  • @clocuevas1984 No problem.

  • Wish to tell us how you really feel? hehe, man if I were going to send you a device to test for me, I would at least make sure that what I am sending you is up to snuff. I'd have made sure that everything was in place .just think if someone buying their first device who knew almost nothing and on the fence as to the validity of vaping in general....talk about a bad first impression imho. Shame though, I LOVE the idea of a dismantle-able tank atty..hated that with my ego-t. Thanks for the vid!

  • @nighteyeswolf Yep, a good start. It needs some tweaking though. The developers/manufactures need to do more testing with real vapers in the community before releasing products. And if they fail DON'T release them until they are right.

  • they are from my part of the world , glad to see its making it up here with more and more vendors joining the game :D

thats the thing with a lot of canadian vendors they are $ but everything is always more expensive up here esp the damn gas lol

  • @HanzoTh3Razor Hey, the more vendors, the better it is for us vapers! That's what it's all aboot aye? :-)

  • @pbusardo hahahaha buddy i am a french canadian from quebec , i sound more like you then them ;D i got a bit of an italian accent when i speak english hahahaha aboot lololol
