In future soldier. Infantry is becoming even more powerful than tanks. They are fast and light and can move undetected. Can do the same damage of a tank if used wisely. I dont wanna be in that tank.
@OtakuLper I know right. Tanks I mean you can outflank them by not getting spotted and basically blow up several of them. Just overwelm if it spotted you.
@lincolntrip yes but meaning you are going to have to travel quietly without making lots of noise and for the size of a tank going around them will take some time.
Overall moving the release of the game to early 2012, when there is much less competition in the market, is a wise decision...No offense to the fans of Ghost Recon, but it simply cannot compete against giant blockbusters like MW3, Battlefield 3, TES V:Skyrim and Mass Effect 3

@DAVIDDPERZ Lolz, chill out dude...Just saying my opinion about the music of Halo, and for the record, the first Half-Life is my favorite FPS of all time....for me Halo is defianitely not the one and only FPS in the world and I have to say that Halo 3 was a dissapoitment for me and I havent even played H3:ODST or Halo:Reach yet.

@DAVIDDPERZ Yea well its not only Halo, there are also lot of those who think the CoD is the only FPS series worth playing or Battlefield,but Im not that narrowminded,it just that I really love the all the music of Halo games...thats one area where Halo has never failed in my opinion. But overall I think FPS genre needs more innovative thinking,Im really tired to see CoD selling millions every year,even though it's basically nothing more than new 5-6 ours long campaing with new multiplayer maps
I wish developers of FPS games would focus more on the singleplayer and storyline, than multiplayer...when singleplayer campaing is 5-6 hours long, and I have little interest in the multiplayer, there is really no point of bying FPS games until their price has dropped down.

This was the 1st Ghost Recon game I've ever play on the PS2, and I loved it!! Had to get Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 on PS3, and it didn't disappoint not one bit (I will say that the multiplayer theme is one of the best I've ever heard!) And now I'm so looking forward to Ghost Recon Future Solider. Can't wait to get it!!
Despite me being a huge Tom Clancy fan..I must say that I didn't like this game...Not that it sucks..its just that When i play this game I feel more like a soldier than a ghost when killing the enemy...I like the old Ghost recon better..
My very first game I played on Xbox360 and well the first current console generation game I played...and I just loved it. Ofcourse today GRAW doesnt feel so awesome anymore like it did in 2006, but for me it really was the first real "nex-gen" game, first game that made me want to buy Xbox360.
This is alot better than cod because you have to be precise and think and you can do things the way you want to its not just like , kill everyone in sight kind of thing. No offense to COD tho
@Camthemovieman1 SOOOO TRUUUEEE! I HATE COD! The only thing i wish Ubisoft would do is bring back the old AI and Huge seemingly endless maps so you can actually hike to your objective from any direction,I noticed as the graphics in GR got better the maps got kinda worse,I liked the Korean landscape In GR2 but the levels were too small,and the bad guys just ran bloody hell toward you and could see through walls from 20 miles away! and hit you. i had to really get down and dirty to kill them!
@OsanBlackCat5RS COD is probably like the suck-up of all FPSs ever made. Seriously, it takes almost no brainpower to play it. Tactics are long forgotten in that game, all you do is run into a war-zone guns a blazing, which is a surefire way to get your ass killed in reality. Granted, if it were realistic, then it just wouldn't be very fun, which is why I think Battlefield is the best FPS franchise ever. It has a good balance between realism and non-realism.
@Pokebuddy22 The game is pretty bad. Squad AI is retarded and will get themselves killed if you send them in before clearing out the area yourself. The game should be called Rambo, because it's you against the entire city of Mexico. You're also a sitting duck everywhere you go, very unrealistic. The PC version is the best, but it's nothing like the original Ghost Recon.
@CaptEm1 are you kidding me? how is being a sitting duck "everywhere," which isnt true btw, unrealistic? i played the game with a buddy of mine who was in iraq with the US marines. he said it was pretty close to real combat, in the sense that you must always be in cover or you find yourself in big trouble.
@hooahguy14 One man against an entire city is realistic? If you don't clean up first, your teammates will die by running straight into enemy fire. They are also unable to follow you properly, they stay like 70 feet away from you. In the original you had your team watching your back, right behind you like a little ball scouting in all directions. It was also possible to make support teams which you could send in where you wanted on command. And all the units in your squad were playable.
Nice. really nice. If you listen carefully you can here the Snare line rise up with a nice beat. That gun rim shot sounds like a gun shot too. The Composer for this had to be in DCI and serve in the military. It's just an all around epic sound. Like to see the jabbawockeez dance to this one.
epic soundtrack, but the game was not very funny playing with 2 humans and 2 bots me and my friend died and died and died and died... part2 is better until the last ludicirous mission, which we tried to beat for 3 days, then cheated and the story end was pretty disappointing. from what ive seen, the XBOX version is SO MUCH BETTER then the computer version, a lot more equipment, completely different story and even has a part3 :( on PC part 2 it ends with the death of the entire team :(
I rly love the graw 1 pc version, only thing that ruins it is stupid bot AI when they get stuck and sometimes fail to open fire, but i dont hate them because without them you woudnt get far. The best thing in graw 1 is the high-caliber sniper, after you shoot a guy and put a new bullet in it feels so rewarding . The graw 2 automatic sniper you shoot with it and kill makes you think "meh" because its automatic and you still have 14 or 9 more bullets left in your magazine. But GR1 is still best.

Man, this one game transformed Ghost Recon from a crappy series of bad quality games to an awesome epic game for the advanced Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 consoles!

At least the originals were more strategic, sure the graphics were what you would expect from the era but the fact that you could stage a raid from all four directions, using men constantly under your control was a feature lost in the newest games.
@shadowmare97 i think the PC version is still realistic...: no medic, first-person view and direct control over you teammates (like in previous one) luckyly i just got myself the graw 1 on pc (i had it on xbox 360) adn gonna play it when have a moment
@Moks89 I still think the best were the ones that were more based on Squad Centric Covert Ops. Something a SEALS team might experience like fighting rebels in the Jungles of Cuba.
GRAW just doesn't have that feeling... Call me old fashioned I guess but I like a lot of thinking to precede my explosions. Map studying, choosing your squad based on individual merits and drawbacks... and if a squad mate dies, he's gone for the campaign forcing you to choose a newer, less experienced rookie.
@DeutscherTodesengel delayed to 2012 most likely...which is propably a wise move from Ubisoft, because two giants, Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 are both going to be released at fall...yea I know that Ghost Recon is totally different kind of shooter than those 2, and has different kind of audience, but still releasing the game at the same time as those 2 could be a bad move...and let's not forget that games like Mass Effect 3 and TESV: Skyrim are also going to sell like crack...
@callofduty497 Actually GRAW was released to Xbox360 as well as the last gen consoles (but ofcourse those were totally different kind of version, just like the PC version too). But yea,I dont care about all these new games so much either...right now I'm playing Age of Empires II and Commandos 2 again after many years again and both of them are like 10 years old.Sure Just Cause 2 demo, Blur and Halo Reach beta were fun and RDR looks great,but I'm still not going to buy those games for a long time
Awesome song, this game was some of the best and most real fps i ever played. Especially with the new weapons pack v 5,0 mod it gives u a lot of new weapons + modified skins :). You should replay it , the sound its awesome, never heard something so real in a game.
You know what, I kinda have to agree with you. The more I listen to it, the more I view it as jet fighters, that got me thinking that it would be cool to have this song playing while our fighter jets zoom by. Idk, I had a dream about it.
well i like have a huge property at my place and i can shoot freeely up to 3000 yards. its olny kinda good when its quiet. itz soo kool its leaves you open to the imagination. just you the alpine mountains in the background this song and one effing fine peice of machinery. the REMINGTON 700 .338 LAPUA MAG
The coolest thing in GRAW 2 is to take out a tank with Satchel charges :). You take out the gunner, wait for the tank to fire its main gun and you just run straight to it while it reloads. Then just get on the floor and throw like two charges. It feels awesome to kill it without support :)

@DeutscherTodesengel delayed to 2012 most likely...which is propably a wise move from Ubisoft, because two giants, Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 are both going to be released at fall...yea I know that Ghost Recon is totally different kind of shooter than those 2, and has different kind of audience, but still releasing the game at the same time as those 2 could be a bad move...and let's not forget that games like Mass Effect 3 and TESV: Skyrim are also going to sell like crack...

@callofduty497 Actually GRAW was released to Xbox360 as well as the last gen consoles (but ofcourse those were totally different kind of version, just like the PC version too). But yea,I dont care about all these new games so much either...right now I'm playing Age of Empires II and Commandos 2 again after many years again and both of them are like 10 years old.Sure Just Cause 2 demo, Blur and Halo Reach beta were fun and RDR looks great,but I'm still not going to buy those games for a long time

Awesome song, this game was some of the best and most real fps i ever played. Especially with the new weapons pack v 5,0 mod it gives u a lot of new weapons + modified skins :). You should replay it , the sound its awesome, never heard something so real in a game.

Once I passed GRAW 2 on high-risk mode without being killed a single time :)
Never managed to pull it off on GRAW, though; never get passed Chapultepec castle without being killed.

The coolest thing in GRAW 2 is to take out a tank with Satchel charges :). You take out the gunner, wait for the tank to fire its main gun and you just run straight to it while it reloads. Then just get on the floor and throw like two charges. It feels awesome to kill it without support :)
