This reminds me of Hawaii. My wife & I honeymooned there last April, & we stayed on the west end of the island (O'ahu), away from Honolulu.  They have tent towns all along the coast, starting 5 miles away from Waikiki. Whole homeless families. Parents, kids...it's sad.

There are tent cities in detroit 2, no coverage, to hard to hear. lol Yes the reason you don't hear about is this, there are journalists in mainstream wanting to publish but Editors have bosses too who are influenced by thier shareholders, who over the years are wealthy individuals who don't care how the small individuals are squeezed. If you look at the public records for any mainstream media and sadly over the years they've sold themselves equally giving them less power then they had when a company owns itself.
