Wow, gorgeous centerpiece! I bet it's expensive, too! About how many cymbidium orchids did you use? How about dendrobium orchids? What's the estimated cost on a centerpiece like this, including crystals, vases and candles?
HELLO JOSE , DO YOU THINK YOU CAN MAKE A VIDEO ON HOW TO MAKE THE TREE WITH THE STUFF THAT HANGS ON IT. IT ALSO LOOKS LIKE YOU PAINTED THE TREE SILVER, IM WORKING ON MY OWN WEDDING, AND IM TRYING TO REPRODUCE THAT SAME THING. WHAT TYPE OF BRANCH IS IT? AND CAN YOU HELP ME WITH SOME OF THE STUFF I NEED TO KNOW IN ORDER TO MAKE IT.THANK YOU SO MUCH ! LOVE UR VIDEOS!!!
Wonderful!!!! I have never seen something like this here in my country. You are really great! Please send some more videos. I am just a housewife but your ideas inspired me to make better flower arranjements. Thank you!
OMG that was the most beautiful arrangement i have seen i have been a florist for 15 years now i have impressed myself with some of my pieces but that was stunning well done you deserve 100 / 100 on this keep up the great work the cndles look great as well great idea i should try something like this here in Australia :)
Hi, were can i buy a tree like this with the flexible material? i like it!! Please tell me if you sell this tipe of tree, or what material is it? thanks
What is the name of the tree? Is that a Manzanita Branch? If so, how is it so flexible. I am looking to create a crystal tree but I love this particular tree you have because it seems so flexible. Do you have another source?
Your designs are truly inspirational. Hands down the best on youtube. I recently noticed some of your work featured in Grace Ormonde's Wedding Magazine. Congrats!!!!!
Beautiful, gorgeous, awesome center piece . maybe someday i'll have enough nerve to try and make something like it . but for now i'll just keep admiring your work lol thanks for the video's
i love ur work... please upload a video explaining how to create a centerpiece with a tower or cilinder vase... as im having problems with the oasis, i dont know how to adapt it to the vase and how to hide it. please please jose
thank you for displaying such a detailed info on this beautiful centerpiece. It turns to a miracle with your magical touch. I would love to make one like it, but can't find the tree. Is there a way you can help with that? Nothing comes up with your suggested title "bendable silver tree".
I watch the video over and over and just get sooo inspired by your work. Keep creating, you are awesome!
where do you get those lights? because I decorate as a hobby and some places won't allow candles.. so to create the lighting effect, you use those lights you put under the vase but I don't know where to get them!!
If you water the hydrangeas and place the orchids in watertubes, the flowers will probably look fresh for a few days. Please ensure that they are not in direct sunlight and the place is cool~ around 65 is good.
Also, seasonal availability will change during the year. Cymbidium orchids, like most other flowers, have growing seasons (Autumn, Winter) where they are less expensive than in the Spring & Summer. So, prices will vary during the year depending upon availability. I own my trees, then rent them in my applications. However, if you want your florist to buy them, then the cost will be higher, too!
Thank you for your opinion! For more of my work, Google my business name~ Jose Graterol Designs. I have some interesting photos of my work on the BizBash website. Search my name and rollover my images there!
Amazing arrangement, and I love the whole concept of using the tree with the crystals.I've worked on large arrangements like that as well, and I have to ask if you ever have problems with Hydrangea when you cut it into smaller pieces the way you did.Any tips for helping Hydrangea last longer in Oasis?
Thanks for your response! There are a few things to learn about Hydrangea... First, they love water so much that "hydra-" is in their name. Dunk the flower in water to freshen it up before using it. Spray water on it with a bottle to keep them fresher, too. You can also add water to the oasis like you would add water to an arrangement! Hydrangea is a favorite of mine! It lasts and lasts & dries beautifully, too!
Look in your town for the cyrstals. They arre popular and around at many stores. Or Google crystal strands, hanging crystals, crystal garlands, etc. Good Luck!
Thank you! I love my work! I am passionate about events and unusual designs! When I go shopping now, I look at everything and think how I can use it in an arrangement or at an event! Lamps, housewares, bathroom items can be converted to use to hold or accent floral centerpieces! Let your mind flow with new ideas about everyday products! Reuse, renew, Go Green!
The pink vase is no longer available where I purchased it. Go to local stores such as Target or Wal-Mart or Michaels to see what is in stock. Or Google online for Glass pink vase or whatever color you want to use. Try to search online for lighting prices. I live in Miami and have sources there without shipping charges.
I love it! It looks so easy bc you are doing it :) But i bet its prob not as beautiful if i do it myself. Thanks so much for the tips! You are exceptionallyy good!
My designs are not so intricate. Some can be copied. But, the most difficult thing is to find materials that work together well taking into account colors, textures, sizes, availability, and overall desired look. Be inventive, creative and happy! The energy will then flow freely!
It makes me so happy and proud that you enjoy my work. For some new photos, Google me on~ josedesigns bizbash I have an ad there to increase exposure.
It is a small battery operated light that twists to operate on & off. You can purchase it at floral supply stores or online. It is called an "acolyte." Sincerely, Jose

other without securing. The tree looks like it would easily fall over if somone
bumped.

The cost depends on the time of year, labor cost, availability of the materials, cost of materials, and your location.
