I personally don't see anything wrong with her voice, she only has a 2.5 vocal range, which is not high at all. You can clearly tell she's very nervous and nerves can effect anyone's vocals, just watch Mariah's performance at MJ's funeral, she was shaky and off key. I am comparing Ciara to MC, but if your nervous, you won't be able to focus on your vocals and you'll go off key and pitch.

I don't know why people are slagging this performance so much. She sang the song straight, rather than try to do things with her voice that are outside her limitations, and sounded very good.
