It's interesting the lies and disinformation in the video. For example, she mentions Prop 98 as one of the initiatives that severely limits their flexibility to finance the state. Except that Prop 98 can be suspended, and with support of the Governor, this can be achieved if Dems go along with it. That would significantly improve the legislature's ability to balance the books. If only she had the will.

All she does in complain. No solutions are offered. Typical politician.

Evans is distorting the truth here. In myth 1 she says that only $15B is excess funding. Yes, but the point is that this "Excess funding" has been spent year after year for over a decade. $15B in 2009 + 14.8B in 2008 + 14.5B in 2007...If we had saved instead of spent that money, we'd be sitting on a surplus right now.
