  • you wouldn't happen to be a Valentino Rossi fan? that # 46 sticker leads me to believe so.

  • great sound, great amp, great song... gotta love steve lukather...

  • @kimkikki valveking would be your best bet. bugera is just too much of a risk to take.

  • @lenmetallica

Instead of making assumptions about stuff you have no clue about, perhaps you should do some resarch first? Bugera put out a line of 6262's and 333xl's that had a plastic connector clip that was getting melted due to high temps, this has been fixed on any new amp since around june last year. Oh, and valvekings sound like garbage :D

  • @titanwar990

Yes because i totally said i was making assumptions yea? I got a brand new Bugera 222XL head and it sounded great in the shop. i get home and guess what? no sound. turns out a simple trip from the shop and my house somehow destroyed the transformer. I got a 6262 instead. Sounds great but still don't have confidence in it after the first incident. i agree, the valve kings are complete shit in tone, but they generally last longer.

So i guess Im not the one making assumptions , am i?

  • @lenmetallica

My bad, I get real defensive over my amps :) I have a 6262 that I've had no problems with and it sounds amazing. Ive heard of that problem with the 333xl before but chances are it was just biasing problems or the tubes getting knocked around or some garbage like that. I think if it sounds good in the shop, and you have a warranty on it, go for it. Worst comes to worse the warranty expires and you can buy another 3 for the price of a mesa/marshall/peavey. No hard feelings man :(

  • @titanwar990 no it's cool dude, i wasn't really angry, just trying to get my point across man :) didn't mean to sound douchey

Yea, for what my 6262 that i have is worth, it gives a really awesome tone, i gotta say i love it. But you just gotta be careful with these amps, cause you never really know, is all i'm saying. I'm not too sure about problems in the other amps they have, like the plexi style amp and the other boutique style stuff, haven't heard much.

but check out the new Bugera TriRec

Are you using an A/B split channel sonfig.? or going stereo?

Why the 333XL and the 6262?

  • Nice amp sound....Bugera is great.

  • Killer groove guys. I liked it!

  • Nice playing, is that one of those Yamaha guitars where the body is some strange material?

    Nice funk! Multo bene!

  • great work.

    sometimes your amp says "Buger"
