this is a relitively small crocodile. of course, the tiger won this round because the crocodile was so far out of it's element. the water's edge would be a good element for both and then it would be a completely different story. soft skin versus armoured truck skin.

This is not fake. The incident happened some years ago inside the Bandhavgarh National Forest in the centreal Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The tiger, which has been named 'Machli', is still alive and kicking. The footage was also shown on NatGeo. Machli in Indian language means fish. This tiger has a fish sign on his head and hence named so.

Crocodile's may be reptiles, but they have amphibious behaviour. In other words, they're not just water dwellers, and they do come on land. This is a very real scenario and it happens alot more often than you think.

Also, it's very unlikely that a Croc would win in this case. Their jaws are far more powerful than a tiger's, but their mobility puts them at a huge disadvantage when on land.

An interesting point. In one of Sir David Attenborough documentaries a tiger swam out and took a meal from a very large croc than swam away with the meal! Might have been a lucky tiger but does makes one wonder. One of the advantages a tiger might have over a croc is how flexible cats are.
