no it's Pro-Mark X-Pad double sided practice pad...on side for graet rebounce and the other is much harder to play on for severe practicin.

I think those are promark, got them once, light weighted, they had some sticky finish - never dropped out of hands, straight and firm till' the end, I could say that these were really the best I've ever had, if you find them, grab a pair

If you want to learn some drumline technique and exercises, watch Jeff Queen or Mark Wessels in the Vic Firth websites. Johnny's video is to teach speed technique and exercises not drumline.

I just got the DVD also. My left hand is way, way slower than my right hand, and his DVD is going to fix that! In a week, I already see a good improvement! I wish I had this DVD when I first started playing...many years ago!! Every drummer should buy a copy of this! Just do it. And no, I wasn't paid or asked to post this....lol
