I'm sad that it was only running for 18 months because people couldn't stand to see the Phantom's story go on. His story should go on because it never really ended in POTO, he disappeared. I can't wait to see this movie. On February 28, there is going to be a showing at theaters. I know Celebration Cinemas in Lansing is going to be showing it at 7:30 PM. Which I'm hoping I can be there.
I saw this in the opening month in London - the Phantom has an absolutely AMAZING voice live. I've never heard anything like it. 'Til I Hear You Sing Once More <3
Phantom of the opera is the greatest peice of work I've ever seen and I was worred about how the sequal would change that. I've always said you can not make a sequal to phantom. But then hearing the music of Love never dies, I believe Andrew can do any thing, his music works for it.
To everyone who is disappointed about the ending of Love Never Dies, If You are a huge Phantom of the Opera Fan like i am, and you have seen the DVD, Think back to the very end of the movie and how it show's Raoul at her grave with the music Box, She is dead in Phantom to, but as it is looking back in the past you don't know that, But people who are Phantom Fans Go look back on the Movie. And you will soon see how the magic is reviled .
Wow, I just read the plot, I won't say anything here. But I personally am VERY disappointed with the ending. I will see it for my love of the original, but I feel it will destroy my memories of the first. At least it wont come as a shock since I read about it.
I would disagree with Ramin... Christine "going off with Raoul" at the end of the original is quite a happy ending. NOT for the Phantom, I know, but for Christine and Raoul! That's part of the tragedy.
This is so exciting! I hope I get to see it soon. I was always heartbroken watching the end of The Phantom of the Opera, seeing the Phantom alone, but it seems like with Love Never Dies, there is still hope! I am so curious to see what happens!
