Loved this film. It was something that Ford had to do, just to getting funding for another film. But, man, did he come up with a good film. Wayne and O' Hara made a great team. The rest of the cast was top notch. Very professionally done.
I heard that Ken Curtis(Festus Hagen) started out as a singer, but didn't really know how good a singer he was until I seen this. He looks a lot different here than in Gunsmoke.
What a cutie. And he could sing too.

Getting parts in John Wayne's movies was based on his talent, but it didn't hurt that he was the Director John Ford's son-in-law.
