This is nothing like splinter cell. Splinter cell is solely stealth based and has no options to trail away from that (except SP:Conviction can go both ways now). This game is entirely different and I don't know how you can even compare them except that in this game you have the OPTION to be stealthy. I agree with brphoenix

People should:

1) stop believing graphical quality=better game. It may make gameplay more enjoyable, but that's IT.

2) games can be original. This is not a "splinter-cell wannabe". It's a lot different. Do they have player customization and rpg-like weapon proficiency on splinter cell?

3) A game in development is likely to improve. This trailer is probably quite old. Devs are coding the game. Later on, they'll tweak graphical stuff, AI, etc. They have to make sure it works before it's pretty.

A game is all about the 'suspension of disbelief'. Keeping the player interested in your story and trying to make him believe your story is viable. Graphics is a hugh part of that. Gameplay even more. Without one, the other is useless. So a discussion about kiddo's that find graphics more important then gameplay is useless. It isn't.

I'm not 14, but graphics still are important. If it effects the enjoyment one has with a game, then it is important.

Besides, it's the first thing people see when they boot up the game, it's got to impress.

I'm not saying they're the most important, by any means, but they still make a detrimental effect on the games reception. Just keep that in mind. :P
