@amzngone1 When you hear someone say the 6th chord they mean the 6th degree of the key. Every key on the piano has it's degree. So starting on the key of C:(the first key) has 7 degrees of the Cscale. Meaning 7 chords. There are 12 keys in total (C, C#, D,Eb, E,F,G,F#,A,Ab,Bb,B) learn those. So the 6th degree of C is A..but it is a minor so it's Amin with a 7th in it(you can search for what 7ths are) so in the key of C it is Aminor.
