Ok, a couple of things here. First, the camera is out of focus. One astronauts apologizes that he cannot improve the focus right at the very end of the clip. The camera not being in focus will inflate the size of a small object and will distort shapes. The same thing occurs with "orbs" (dust specs) of spirit energy in paranormal investigations. The second is that your only reference is the lost tether and without knowing its motion it is not possible to judge the motion of the background objects
Ice crystals cannot change direction! One movement you missed and the best of the lot was right at the start as they focused in, appearing about half way up on the left it slows then does a U turn. It appears to dim as it turns but is still there if you look carefully.

you can totally hear them in the background and they are totally miffed by it...there are so many objects...it's not calm you hear but shocked awe. Some of the stuff zipping around is just space ice/debris...but how can you say the weird shape circular ones with the notch out & the pulsating light with a hole at the centre which stop & start & change direction are space ice/debris..get a grip..if they are then what force is acting on them to make them move in such un-space ice/debris like ways?

Nice work OP, there may very well be a hidden avenue to follow in the hunt for..shall we say, possible skulduggery at NASA. Just as with photo and video analytical advances over the years, as a tool to find anomalies, we can also apply the same principle to archival audio too...using computers, we can enhance the audio to bring out the detail. Nice.
Why do the discs not deviate from a plane running parallel to the camera lens, that may or may not relate to earth orbit? The notches around the discs are always roughly at 12 and 6 o'clock relative to the observer (again) and irrespective of disc direction. Why would a craft be locked in this orientation?
Why don't more discs come into view as the camera gets further from the tether? Why do they all simultaneously change their appearance so drastically?
@UltimateRealist Seriously mate, there are tonnes of other clips on here, officially released by NASA themselves, that clearly show unknown objects making sweeping turns and rapid speed adjustments...other than that, i'd say they just know where they want to go...and go. Search out a YT member called LunaCognita...he's done an analysis of this video, you'll see for yourself that they do certainly change direction. GRIDKEEPER is another good one to look out for, if you're interested.
@spikeychops Thanks. I seen the vid you mention. For me, with UFO's it's an observational error until proven otherwise. It's such an awe inspiring prospect to imagine invisible UFO's are all around us (like angels amost) that I think it wise to double check every presumption given: things seem to invariably turn out to be a trick of perspective, light or some other unforeseen variable that deceives us.There are defo things in this footage reminiscent of lens flares-read my previous posts.Cheers.
@UltimateRealist I agree there is a lot of error or even plain old hoaxing to think about, when viewing clips about UFO's, but even so, the sheer amount of 'official' evidence (which precludes a hoax) coming directly from NASA and other space agencies is hard to write off as visual aberrations or error. But i do see what you mean. Remember though, even if 99,999 of 100,000 UFO reports turn out to be hoaxes, errors etc, the 1 left proves everything. There have been many millions of reports.

Question: As far as I understand it the bright line is understood to be the tether stretching 12 miles across space. If this is the case then it's also at least half a mile wide (close-ups). Is that a fact? I'm not sure viewers aren't misinterpreting the picture, I'm guessing only a short end segment is visible which could hugely reduce the scale and distance of everything and bring ice/debris back into the equation. I'm yet to make my mind up but I feel something's off with the dimensions.
@UltimateRealist It appears so wide because of lens flare. As well according to newton, an object in motion tends to stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. So knowing that the "ice debris" changes direction. The only other known object in history to spontaneously change direction without obvious cause is....... an intelligently controlled man made craft. Thx.
@M1NDC0N7R0L The discs and their notches morph - 2:10 - in a way suggesting a reflection on glass surface. An object is captured passing in front of the tether whilst the lens is refocused at 3:43, with the tether lost in glare the rest of the time we've no reliable measure of distance.
The movement is a teaser but Newton surprises me in a zero gravity vacuum: If the objects can be close to the shuttle there's still the possibility that gas flows and other forces are acting to deflect them.

@UltimateRealist The tether (at the point we see it and the 'swarms' together in the video) is as you say, the long glowing 'line'. It is actually about 70 miles away by the time we see the discs, and being tracked by the shuttle's cameras. The reason it looks to be very wide is due to it fluorescing from interaction with charged particles acting in a similar (not the same) way to a fluorescent light tube. It's not wide at all, it's literally a thin(ish) steel cable.
@spikeychops Yes, well, we have the cable where it should be then. For me the only thing here that is not easily explainable is the changes of direction. Don't want to repeat myself but there's little else that I find surprising now i've seen it a dozen times. I think the fixed orientation of the discs and the way they all turn into pulsing drip shapes at the same time makes it clear that we are just seeing the refraction of light off some distant unobservable objects...
@spikeychops The fact that the tether is so distorted and magnified to us makes it all the more likely that our saucers are a similar effect created by small distant particles. I'd be interested to know the actual width of that tether, I'm guessing it's no more than a cm or so across. If the tether is steel then I wonder if it's generating some kind of magnetic field that might act on particles as they pass over the poles and cause them to change direction. Do you still think they're saucers?

I heard every utterance you caught and a few more but I disagree that the one guy says it could be a UFO. People are overlooking this ice crystal footage way too much :D, and the background vocies dont even match up, the ones that are matching only makes more sense, offcourse they are mad/dissepointed when the tether just broke :D. The Violet/infra Camera and the sun makes these Crystals appear and disappear into frame and also makes them pulsate and look illuminated. I dont see anyone stop or reverse, they all move in one direction, thats how vacum works. And no, they dont go behind the tether.

@nils4545 you obviously didnt watch the video intently... at 3:24 ..it spots a craft...that is moving upwards near the tether then abrubtly stops...and then starts traveling downward... so they are not moving in one direction..
@1403MN ~ I don't understand why people would be surprised by something like this happening. When the camera is at it's widest angle (fully zoomed out) and begins to gather more light there are brief moments where it shows the debris is more dense and clustered than it appeared earlier. Why would someone not expect these object to collide and change trajectory. I'm more curious how people can see this and believe that thousands of UFO swarm a cable and leave the craft alone as everyone chats.
@xtnslromeo there were not thousands...some of it was debrise from tether breaking...the large shaped ones were ufos thou...as you can see that one abruptly stops...hovers...and then changes direction...stop helping nasa cover it up! :(

If it would have been debris, it would have been everywhere, even closer to the shuttle and the camera, thus if it was debris and watch for example 0:16, where it isnt magnified, why don't you see the big pieces? Then either the debris clustered around the tether and there in NO debris near the shuttle at all. wtf? and to change vector and speed, you need force.2nd Law of newton: force=acceleration*mass. What force is there in the vacuum space? But if it isnt debris, it doesnt mean it are ufo's

i almost left a comment about how you pretty much ruined the video with all that text flashing in front of the view, and i then read the comments about voices in the background. and i must say GOOD ear, man. i would have NEVER heard that. it really adds to the authenticity of this video, that you can actually hear the nasa ppl discussing what they're seeing, but it's not even obvious, you need to REALLY listen to hear it, as opposed to if someone were adding it in the video to make it seem real.

@radcam69 this is not to show the ufos, this is to show the background communication, which is just as important, you have to listen closely, most people including myself have never heard it, it was by accident that i heard it, there are millions of videos of this on the net, so this ones the analysis of the background communication.
hmm yea that could be said too. dam, great ear, i was not sure if that part. theres another voice in the background at the same time that blends in with the louder transmission.i was just going through it again and found even more faint talk that barely audible, probably better to download the video into audacity, that software is great, you can cut out the high range and low range noise leaving the human voices quite well. everyone should get it its free software,multiple uses, besides analysis

Someone who does not know a thing about the tether incident will probably be surprised by looking at these images.
Maybe the guy talked about the tether itself when he said "don't know why they're filming that - this could be a UFO", meaning "we know that this is not one but what about the spectators ??".
And about those flying pulsating objects, can we know exactly the distance between them and the camera and the distance between them and the sun ?
yea im not sure about the whole thing, its just interesting to be able to hear another communication link going on in the background, its just to make people see that there could be other things going on that the regular announcer doesnt say.
You seem to be very excited about your "discovery". But do you realize that there is nothing exceptionnal here if, like I mentionned before, the background guys are talking about the tether itself and not those pumping objects swimming in the foreground ?
I'm pretty sure NASA's job was to prevent curiosities like this to be filmed and what we hear in the background is their reaction as - I guess - they never wanted the tether to be filmed. Broken tether = loss of credibility.

this is the recording of i dont-know-what through a microscope.... im a biology major and id recognize particles floating on water ANYWHERE, besides, if this "battle" was in space, then where are the stars? most of the things that are there are moving and even still, there are way more stars than that in space. the light thats supposed to see the sun is actually a light at the bottom of a microscope and in case you were wondering, yes, particles DO change direction sometimes. ;) crappy video

its not, its real! and the communication helps further show this! 100% real! listen to the astronauts talking then listen to the "tether informational" on the nasa site and on youtube, the same astronaut tells about the device whats its purpose is and also sounds just like the astronaut on the front speech in this ufo transmission.

you can totally hear them in the background and they are totally miffed by it...there are so many objects...it's not calm you hear but shocked awe. Nice work OP, there may very well be a hidden avenue to follow in the hunt for..shall we say, possible skulduggery at NASA. Just as with photo and video analytical advances over the years, as a tool to find anomalies, we can also apply the same principle to archival audio too...using computers, we can enhance the audio to bring out the detail. Why do the discs not deviate from a plane running parallel to the camera lens, that may or may not relate to earth orbit? The notches around the discs are always roughly at 12 and 6 o'clock relative to the observer (again) and irrespective of disc direction. Why would a craft be locked in this orientation?
Why don't more discs come into view as the camera gets further from the tether? Why do they all simultaneously change their appearance so drastically?

@UltimateRealist Seriously mate, there are tonnes of other clips on here, officially released by NASA themselves, that clearly show unknown objects making sweeping turns and rapid speed adjustments...other than that, i'd say they just know where they want to go...and go. Search out a YT member called LunaCognita...he's done an analysis of this video, you'll see for yourself that they do certainly change direction. GRIDKEEPER is another good one to look out for, if you're interested.

@spikeychops Thanks. I seen the vid you mention. For me, with UFO's it's an observational error until proven otherwise. It's such an awe inspiring prospect to imagine invisible UFO's are all around us (like angels amost) that I think it wise to double check every presumption given: things seem to invariably turn out to be a trick of perspective, light or some other unforeseen variable that deceives us.There are defo things in this footage reminiscent of lens flares-read my previous posts.Cheers.

@UltimateRealist I agree there is a lot of error or even plain old hoaxing to think about, when viewing clips about UFO's, but even so, the sheer amount of 'official' evidence (which precludes a hoax) coming directly from NASA and other space agencies is hard to write off as visual aberrations or error. But i do see what you mean. Remember though, even if 99,999 of 100,000 UFO reports turn out to be hoaxes, errors etc, the 1 left proves everything. There have been many millions of reports.

I'm just getting very general remarks about belief and disclosure, nobody has come back with any decent answers regarding the suspect things visible in this footage or the apparent inconsistencies in the way this footage seems to be interpreted. Question: As far as I understand it the bright line is understood to be the tether stretching 12 miles across space. If this is the case then it's also at least half a mile wide (close-ups). Is that a fact? I'm not sure viewers aren't misinterpreting the picture, I'm guessing only a short end segment is visible which could hugely reduce the scale and distance of everything and bring ice/debris back into the equation. I'm yet to make my mind up but I feel something's off with the dimensions.

So knowing that the "ice debris" changes direction. The only other known object in history to spontaneously change direction without obvious cause is....... an intelligently controlled man made craft. Thx.

@M1NDC0N7R0L The discs and their notches morph - 2:10 - in a way suggesting a reflection on glass surface. An object is captured passing in front of the tether whilst the lens is refocused at 3:43, with the tether lost in glare the rest of the time we've no reliable measure of distance.
The movement is a teaser but Newton surprises me in a zero gravity vacuum: If the objects can be close to the shuttle there's still the possibility that gas flows and other forces are acting to deflect them.

@UltimateRealist The tether (at the point we see it and the 'swarms' together in the video) is as you say, the long glowing 'line'. It is actually about 70 miles away by the time we see the discs, and being tracked by the shuttle's cameras. The reason it looks to be very wide is due to it fluorescing from interaction with charged particles acting in a similar (not the same) way to a fluorescent light tube. It's not wide at all, it's literally a thin(ish) steel cable.

@spikeychops Yes, well, we have the cable where it should be then. For me the only thing here that is not easily explainable is the changes of direction. Don't want to repeat myself but there's little else that I find surprising now i've seen it a dozen times. I think the fixed orientation of the discs and the way they all turn into pulsing drip shapes at the same time makes it clear that we are just seeing the refraction of light off some distant unobservable objects...

@spikeychops The fact that the tether is so distorted and magnified to us makes it all the more likely that our saucers are a similar effect created by small distant particles. I'd be interested to know the actual width of that tether, I'm guessing it's no more than a cm or so across. If the tether is steel then I wonder if it's generating some kind of magnetic field that might act on particles as they pass over the poles and cause them to change direction. Do you still think they're saucers?

People are overlooking this ice crystal footage way too much :D, and the background vocies dont even match up, the ones that are matching only makes more sense, offcourse they are mad/dissepointed when the tether just broke :D. The Violet/infra Camera and the sun makes these Crystals appear and disappear into frame and also makes them pulsate and look illuminated. I dont see anyone stop or reverse, they all move in one direction, thats how vacum works. And no, they dont go behind the tether.

When the camera is at it's widest angle (fully zoomed out) and begins to gather more light there are brief moments where it shows the debris is more dense and clustered than it appeared earlier. Why would someone not expect these object to collide and change trajectory. I'm more curious how people can see this and believe that thousands of UFO swarm a cable and leave the craft alone as everyone chats.

If it would have been debris, it would have been everywhere, even closer to the shuttle and the camera, thus if it was debris and watch for example 0:16, where it isnt magnified, why don't you see the big pieces? Then either the debris clustered around the tether and there in NO debris near the shuttle at all. wtf? and to change vector and speed, you need force.2nd Law of newton: force=acceleration*mass. What force is there in the vacuum space? But if it isnt debris, it doesnt mean it are ufo's

i almost left a comment about how you pretty much ruined the video with all that text flashing in front of the view, and i then read the comments about voices in the background. and i must say GOOD ear, man. i would have NEVER heard that. it really adds to the authenticity of this video, that you can actually hear the nasa ppl discussing what they're seeing, but it's not even obvious, you need to REALLY listen to hear it, as opposed to if someone were adding it in the video to make it seem real.

hmm yea that could be said too. dam, great ear, i was not sure if that part. theres another voice in the background at the same time that blends in with the louder transmission.i was just going through it again and found even more faint talk that barely audible, probably better to download the video into audacity, that software is great, you can cut out the high range and low range noise leaving the human voices quite well. everyone should get it its free software,multiple uses, besides analysis

Maybe the guy talked about the tether itself when he said "don't know why they're filming that - this could be a UFO", meaning "we know that this is not one but what about the spectators ??".

You seem to be very excited about your "discovery". But do you realize that there is nothing exceptionnal here if, like I mentionned before, the background guys are talking about the tether itself and not those pumping objects swimming in the foreground ?
I'm pretty sure NASA's job was to prevent curiosities like this to be filmed and what we hear in the background is their reaction as - I guess - they never wanted the tether to be filmed. Broken tether = loss of credibility.

lol yea i think ive heard that too! even in music songs, in between pauses in a singers lyrics there is usually some type of dirty word or something like on the "rolling of teh tounge or something". this nasa ones different, because it seems like some type of censorship done by the people on this mission, but somehow a mic picked up the feeble background sounds and it was recorded. what do you think , did u hear them talking once i pointed it out??

Yes, I heard it, it was very clear. But I don't think its secret talking. It's probably just the people in the background, because it wasn't recorded in a studio...

this is the recording of i dont-know-what through a microscope.... im a biology major and id recognize particles floating on water ANYWHERE, besides, if this "battle" was in space, then where are the stars? most of the things that are there are moving and even still, there are way more stars than that in space. the light thats supposed to see the sun is actually a light at the bottom of a microscope and in case you were wondering, yes, particles DO change direction sometimes. ;) crappy video

well its a tether that nasa was going to use to charge the shuttle to keep it in orbit without using any on board fuel to put it back in orbit, it snapped then all of a sudden what looks like thousands of ufos show up and keep flying around the tether, there are many videos of it,BUT i listened really closely to the background communication and found there was a secret communcation not in the forefront. i picked up on it and wrote it out on the video so more people can be aware.need headphones

u need headphones at high volume to really hear the background, but its really important nasa officials on the ground say they objects are ufo craft and say that the shuttle crew should not film it, but the crew continues to film the ufos flying around despite the flight control orders. its really important! its just hard to hear, but once you start hearing the voices in the background you hear the secret background communication and it is surprising what they say. the subtitles point it out!thx

No not all.They do cover it though along with an interview with Martin Stubbs ,some other events with the shuttle and MIR. I've watched this video countless times and never picked up on the mission control background talk.Good Catch!!

its not, its real! and the communication helps further show this! 100% real! listen to the astronauts talking then listen to the "tether informational" on the nasa site and on youtube, the same astronaut tells about the device whats its purpose is and also sounds just like the astronaut on the front speech in this ufo transmission.

yea! im really not sure, i just know every so often since the appolo astronauts they will say something about the UFO and then immediately shut up and so they have to be told at some point to keep quite about ufo activity and probably take a pledge to do so and if they break it theres harsh conesequences, seems thats what happened to schnider about the alien base, and thats really sad to take out the good guys who want to have total freedom on earth in this case freedom of information!
