  • O.O

  • That will definitely put hair on you nuts

  • KING of ALL reciever!!!!!!

  • Almost bought it then went for the Arcam avr 600 for $300 more very happy with the choice although that amp would be pretty bad ass

  • Ok 5499$ for the receiver, still got to buy those 13 speakers ! O_o

  • It's half his size! Or rather half his weight I bet.

  • to funny!!!!!! look at all the connections here on the back of this thing!!!!!

lol...this guy should be selling shamwows not stereo equipment...

    good for a laugh

  • 5499 $ !!! OMG

  • I have a Yamaha RX-Z9 and I love it. The thing is so heavy I made a custom shelf on my glass rack out of 3/8" thick (plus the original glass shelf) bullet proof Lexan.

  • Yamaha is shur not the best but i'm 20 year old and i have a Nad Denon Yamaha cambrigde sansui and pioneer elite and i have like 24 speaker the best of course mirage haha for receiver it's beteween cambridg and sansui for music and for theather yamaha has alot of punch! bit over rated but for the price sorry people with yamaha you can go wrong .their durable and not expesive that s why their still on the market

  • Thanks for the video Kenny, that's one nice piece of equipment! I can't wait to purchase this monster in the near future, but for now I'll stick with my RX-V3800

  • mine is a yamaha rx-v3000 is also big but this rx-z is like 3 inches taller

i'm just using mine as an amplifier, bought it for 100.00 from a mexican lady at a flea market hahahaha

  • That is one monster receiver! That sucker weighs 71 pounds! I have the yamaha rx-v1900 and it kicks major ass!

  • People who think the more Watts the better obviously don't know their electronics. For receiver A to be outputting sound 2x as loud (measured in decibals dB), as tuner B, tuner A would need to have 10x the wattage. So if one receiver is outputting 100 watts / channel, for a receiver to be twice as loud it would need to be outputting 1000 watts / channel. So paying rediculous amounts for the difference between 100/channel and say 140/channel is moronic to say the least.

  • PS put that extra money into sound quality. specs to focus on: Distortion and overhead capacity.

  • @abasej10845678

Sir yes sir, I agree with you sir, I will round up the troops and will get right on it sir.

  • ALL HAIL THE MOTHER OF ALL AMPS

  • @iskkarate

UMM yes it is, The man at west coast hifi said here try and lift this amp, Fuck i couldnt it weighs 50kg,s.

  • no its not! 140 watts it aint shit! not even a pre power ive heard this amp mine sounds better and was only 4,000 pounds not dollars...and its 320 watts per channel

  • You're a fool.

You think the more watts the better.

    Not how it works.

Most tube amps are only around 25 watts per channel, but will murder 90% of amps out there.

    Just the facts.

  • Yeah we are talking home cinema! This amp is not the mother of all amps not just in power but design. I cant stand people that make false claims just because its high end kit...Tube amps for home cinema?.,.I dont want die hard to be as smooth as butter!..,and low powered tubes need very efficent speakers! Also only the most costly beat transistors the best amps are hybrid and for films maybe tubes on top end but not bass! So dont call me fool mr .T i have worked in high end hifi for some time.

  • Well, I have very efficient speakers, so I guess tube amps will work for me.

And yes, people use tube amps all the time for home cinema.

  • People also use receivers for home cinema which almost all sound hazy thin and are( to use a car term) all about revs and no torque. If you only watch merchant ivory films then tube amps are great...but i occaisonaly enjoy mindless action and even esoteric tubes on 95 db speakers aernt going to be as fast in the bass as a similar priced transistors. I have owned many a tube amp my own system is 36 grand and i have ribbons on a transistor pre power which does most tube stuff only with tight bass.

  • 36 grand ..get the fuck outta here...

  • @eze14213 36 hundred not grand

  • @MacGasco yeah i know there aint no such thing as a $36,000 receiver i accidently said grand instead of hundred

  • this is the best A / V receiver on the market. it is expensive but can give you anything that you ever Wish for, the BEST SOUND , GRAPHICS and ALOT OF CONNECTIONS....GOOD WORK Yamaha

  • gandohey

  • ..Vary expencive, waighs 80 pounds..

  • I like this guy, he knows his stuff

  • I just purchased this amp the z-11 and the soava 1's. I have a friend who works for yamaha & saved an absolute shitload!!!!! i was lucky not to pay the $8995 rrp for the amp. If your willing to spend the money on the amp and the soavas do it. it's an absolute cracking system

  • OMG that's huge. Quite a bit larger than my RX-V2700. Would love to have this one someday.

  • THIS AMP IS NOT A SUCKER and what is wrong with YAMAHA BRAND.....IS THE OLDEST AND THE BEST BRAND ON THE MARKET....

  • i hvae an onkyo receiver with an ethernet port. it is used for internet radio and streaming music from a computer.

  • what's the ethernet input for? Why does a receiver need internet?

  • maby for listening to radio i know that dvd players with internet can download movies so that could maby download songs or for maby updates i have no clue
