  • this music makes me want to go run a mile and clean up the house and yard.

  • Does Ragtime always have to played that fast?

  • @browser240669 According to Scott Joplin, it is never right to play ragtime fast. But This piece is done by James Scott, who is not known as the 'King of Ragtime.' And to be honest, James Scott did not want this piece played fast. His own words spell this out. But what is up to interpretation is he just says for tempo, 'Not Fast.' However you interpret 'Not Fast' to the next person and could result in a tempo of 60 beats per minute to 135 beats per minute. Completely up to the performer.

  • One of my favorites by James Scott. It was always a blast to play. Made the listener feel good hearing and the piano guy feel good playing.

  • Bravo to James Scott for this very good Rag , the old Ragtimer´s have had´n a very knowledge about something......... h eh ehe he he

  • Sounds more like a Midi recording than a Piano Roll.
