Personally, as a YEC, I don't have a problem with dinosaurs and man living together. I just don't think people were ever that freaking stupid. Still, I love this song. The movie was good too (no dinosaurs -- just smilodons and mammoths).

"Iron Maiden forever"?

I'm very sorry. I probably love this song at least as much as anyone here, but the Iron Maiden of that day is no more. I can not bear listening to almost anything of what they've done since after "No Prayer". It's as if they've become their own imitators.

Last truly great Iron Maiden album was Somewhere in Time.

However, that's really just me, apparently. *shrugs*

@TechnoEstate No way man. I respect you if you don't like the actual Maiden. But saying that Maiden repeats itself is not correct.

They took their own music direction over the years, and they do that actually.

Tell me if this album has something similar with, for example, Fear of the Dark, or Brave New World (Not to mention The X Factor). Almost anything, but the Maiden soul.

In fact, there are thousand of bands trying to imitate the 80s Maiden sound thinking wrongly that Maiden is just that::.

@trimsonido I love Maiden even though I don't listen to this kind of music anymore. I do think they became a little formulaic after thus album. They hit a a plateau (a high one). Nicko is a monster drummer, but Clive brought more creativity to this position. With Nicko at the helm, they have a straight ahead driving sound and a great groove feel. Clive was more nuanced and artistic (Prisoner & Hallowed are great examples) - and so are the songs that he played on. Eagle Dare comes close though!

I have been listening to these guys since the age of 12, and I still listen to them at the age of 38......For me Maiden is the best metal band ever!!!!

I saw the live for the first time in Ålborg DK a couple of years ago, they totally rocked the place......
