  • Come on people, at least study the history of your own country. We better not start talking about the world! :))

  • Where was president Obama born?

-"Not the United States... Florida I guess."

    -"Oh...Germany!"

    -"Guam?"

ALL of those answers are pathetically ridiculous, but I definitely must say that the first is the worst!!!

  • @caitob32207 yeaap, Florida is not part of the USA! :)))

  • "No, it wasn't 1776" wow. I'd like to see them ask "what year did we declare our independence" to people who are exiting the play "1776"... I bet people would still get it wrong.

  • When the questioners don't know the answers to their questions, America's in a ton of trouble. Vietnam, Korea, The Soviet war in Afganistan were all intergral parts of the "Cold War."

  • You should've asked what happened in 1492

    :P

  • @AnimeLuver16712 ...Columbus sailed the ocean blue :)

  • "What did Paul Rever say when the British were coming?"

    "The redcoats are coming!"

    "Not the British are coming?"

    "No."

    -_-

  • The sole reason I have created this account is so that I may set the videos creator straight: Paul Revere DID NOT shout 'The British are coming.' Paul Revere, & the rest of the colonies were BRITISH CITIZENS at this point in time. Its also highly unlikely that Paul Revere would have shouted anything at all, seeing that his ride depended on secrecy. If he HAD shouted anything it would have been along the lines of 'the regulars are coming' to distinguish between the militia & British troops. BOOM

  • @beezjr93 cool story bro

  • The Redcoats are coming (1.50) wasn't a bad guess actually and the interviewer didn't seem to have a clue that's what British soldiers were called at the time.

  • @sc400575

Yes and I don't know how someone who made it to AP US History would not know that. This video does show how stupid America is but not solely for the reason the video maker thinks.

  • They probably don't prompt any answers but they definetly only show the people that are stupid, they probably talked to a million other people and they just cut out all the people who got the answers right

  • I am considering doing this too, but thought maybe Jay Leno would sue me.

  • Boring.

  • Obama born in Germany what the hell?!?! As a non-American, this is so weird to watch.

  • Yeah the Cold War question was misleading.

  • @vaahtobileet Yeah, that was my favorite. If they knew what a Cold War was they could have said 'zero' or 'there are no reliable data for that'. It just goes to show how easily people with no experience thinking for themselves are mislead.

  • omg everyone is so stupid omg haha

  • i dont know the amout of death in the cold war.

but several died. not in battles as such. but spies got killed and so on.

and meny i think in the arms race. so i guess its about how you calculate it.

  • @DarthPulven yeah that's why we tried to specify how many died in the battles of the cold war

  • @doublee10 If you're talking about the proxy wars that made up the Cold War, the Korean War, Vietnam, Soviet-Afghan War, etc., then millions died.

  • @Panzerfaust616 na we meant the cold war battles that did not exist. we know about the korean war and vietnam but that wasn't the part of the question

  • @doublee10 That's sort of misleading though. "Battles of the Cold War" could mean the battles that took place in the wars that I mentioned. I probably would've said a few million as one of the respondents did as well. I don't mean to criticize though; I quite enjoyed the video! :)

  • @Panzerfaust616 oh no i understand the confusion with the question. It was a poorly thought out question. Thanks!

  • @doublee10

Add the USAF pilot who was shot down and killed during the Cuban Missile Crisis (Rudolph Anderson) ...

  • @DrArtist08 pretty sure that wasn't a war/battle

  • @DrArtist08 Our pilot was Francis Gary Powers and he didnt die, he was supposed to swallow his cyanide pill and didnt, and it was Rudolph Abel who was a Russian spy we had captured and then we basically traded spies.

  • @sevendst19

Rudolph Anderson was shot down over Cuba, Oct '62; Gary Powers was shot down over the USSR, May '60.

  • @DrArtist08

Larry McDonald was shot down over Korea.

  • @DarthPulven

Lots of people died! Haven't you played black ops? XD

  • hannah garcia wanted you

  • First comment! lol I hate it when people do this. NIce video though. John McClain for secretary of state! wooo! George Bush on the one dollar bill? I must say, I didn't know the death totals of the cold war, but the rest should have been obvious.

  • @Snarf15 You do know the death toll from the Cold War is zero (0), right?
