i grew up on a farm....life and death were part of the experience...most people have been insulated from the cruelty and matter of factness of life...people die alone in sterilized hospitals and nursing homes their bodies are quickly shuttled off by men in white coats and airbrushed into "slumbering" representations of their animated selves.......The foul smell of over ripened death...rotten and half eaten by maggots and ferrel cats is alien to us...what will people do? I fear most will parish.

Seen more death and destruction in my life than most people would see in 3 or 4 life times. Teach something real, plugging a sucking chest wound, treating an evisceration, pressure points for cranial bleeds, improvised splints for broken bones, wound suturing, plugging a bullet hole with a tampon, using kotex for trauma dressing, clotting blood with Spanish Moss. Come on man get real. Show'em a field surgical kit, how to probe for a bullet. Real stuff, real stuff.

@jerryt602 What's he's showing here is good imho. I probably haven't seen nearly what you've seen but when I saw a head on collision of two cars doing ~55-65 I was the only one who had a level head. I was 18 and was dictating to my friends (16-18 years old) wtf to do as the few adults on the scene bickered like fucking morons amongst themselves about who was at fault. My friends were in shock, the adults too distracted from the needs of the injured. Getting past shock is important.

Great video! Often times people overlook the obvious. In reality based martial arts it's much the same. It's important to visualize the situation beforehand.
