i just made 2, i used four eggs, but just the whites, not a fan of the yolk on fried eggs, anyway, the first ccame out a little sloppy but the second, i would have to say, was a bit better than v's haha. thanks for the video!!!

I have known how to make this dish since i saw Moon Struck in the early 1980s when i was a kid..

try toasting one side of the bread and flip the bread so the brown side is up then you can make sure the bread is done when the egg is.. also try cooking at a medium low heat or low heat depending on your stove top power.

That is brow the toast on one side before you add the egg. that way you do most the cooking with out fliping the eggy and once you flip the eggy that side of toast is al ready done and you just finish off the whites on that side

Thanks for this vid, when I tried it before after watching V for Vendetta the egg would either burn before the bread had cooked or the bread would burn before the egg had cook!! (v. messy) ; )

I tried using Pam first and they didn't taste all that awesome. (Didn't have any butter at 3a.m.) :P I mean it works but meh, so I tried canola oil next and the oil tasted a lot better then Pam even if I did burn it on one side a little! Thanks for the vid :) I love these simple dishes cuz they're so quick!

Toad in the Hole?! That does NOT sound appettizing... I also perfer to call them "V" eggs. I've learned how to make these, but I can't manage to keep the egg only in the center I always end up with whites all over one side.

try this, before u put the egg in make sure the pan is over high heat. put the egg in and it should set really quick (5 secs max) then take if off high heat and finish it on low
