  • Thanks for sharing. It's always good to learn this stuff when you're trying to run a business. I'm off to grab something to eat. First meal of the day here.

  • @ThisFlat Glad you liked it Roger! There's a lot more where this came from so let me know what you need help with. I probably already have a video for it on here. Of course you can search my channel!

  • So I automated my journal entry like you said. Why does my P&L for february not show the expense portion? Thanks.

  • @TheSugarplum770 Without seeing what you set up and how you did it, it's hard to know but if we're talking about Feb 2012? Then it won't show up until we get into Feb and the transaction actually posts.

  • @nerdenterprises I used a QBs sample file that uses year 2013. It did not show up the automated enteries from Feb through DEc.

  • @TheSugarplum770 Most likely it's because the date is in the future and QB is looking to the computer's clock. Your best bet is to create your own sample company file where the dates are consistent with your computer's clock and then try it.

  • @nerdenterprises Ok, I will create a file new with the dates that are consistent w/ my computer. Thanks.

  • THis is awesome. Thanks.
