I just had Hope on medic in each of my paradigm shifts. Odin obviously doesn't like Hope cause he only attacks him until he dies lol, I just used Hope as distraction so while he was beating up hope I was attacking Odin. Since hope was on medic he kept healing himself so he didnt die.

You actually wasted components and presumably money upgrading your weapons this early in the game. You should've stuck with your accessories, believe it or not, they upgrade your stats MUCH more efficiently than your weapons do. Also having higher levelled doesn't help with this fight at all, just have your spark rings on each character, then have Gladius/Silver Bangle and Ninurtia/Silver bangle combos (physical wall 5), get Protect and shell on to start and laugh as you kick his pathetic ass

All you have to do is use aegisol at the begging before you fight him and just switch between ravage and and medic and youll do fine i beat it less than 2 minutes. Quite simple!

it took me about 2 hours then i just went around back and forth to do more battles with the respawning enemies then i tried again to beat odin then that didnt work so i broke down some of my ites and got an aegisol and the other one and used them went into the battle and won it in under 2 minutes

Easier:

-Start with double MED, keep healing Hope, as he will keep healing you.

-When he goes into shield, switch to double RAV, and attack as much as possible.

-When he comes out of it, switch back.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

I kept being owned by him too, then i took Crazymofox's advice and turned the battle time to slow. I also only had Double Dose and Archmage as the paradigms. Soon as the fight started, i used double dose, but soon Hope died..and Odin attacked me, so i kept dd'ing,lol. Then when i had the chance...i revived Hope, Odin started concentrating his attacks on him, giving me plenty of opportunities to attack Odin. When Hope died, i revived, and so on. NICE!

I jizzed my pants laughing at this omg. This is what I did to kill Odin in like, less then 2 mins. I started off with Double Dose (Hope and Lightning are medic) because he goes and beats the shit out of Hope first LOL. So I go Double Does until he does the shield thingy, and then I switched to Rav for both Light and Hope, once the shield was gone I quickly changed back to Double Dose and healed throughout the whole battle. No upgrades or anything. That's how I went through all of it.

What help me killing him was just go to settings and slow down battle time, from normal to slow.

doing so his brutal attacks at the start of the fight was way easyer to out heal.

When hope dies revive him with the phoenix potion, heal yourself and then cast lightning again when he turns around. Just let Hope die and focus on casting lightning and then revive him ;D Hope you all will succeed

i suggest that you use aerosol and fortisol before the battle, and instead of using the (medic, syngerist) you should use something like (ravager, syngerist), or (commando, syngerist), but overall it´s a good way to fight him.

The battle isn't that hard, it's just that there is no real battle that tests you up until that point. Beat him in five tries. Just spammed him with various attacks. Once I saw Hope's health was going down I just switched him to medic and got him to heal up. You'll need some Phoenix Downs. Hope will die... a lot!

Lol. I did it without spark ring, lvl 3 Gladius, and just the Ravager/Medic paradigm. I failed like seven times before I figured out that you had to have Lightning be a ravager to drive up his chain gauge, and Hope be a medic.

When he uses that shield move stop healing and hit hard while you can. I'm fairly sure it fills the chain gauge more if you hit him while he defends, and he also won't attack you during this time.

This video helped alot. After i watched it i used fortisol and agesol right before the battle. also i have the gladius on Lightning and leveled to about 13. i used the rav rav class then when ones health got low switched to light-med Hope-rav. I blew through him. It took 1 minute 11 second and i got 19200 points and 5 stars. Hope it helps.
