You can always just get the package insert for any drug online - it might be quicker for you. Just find out which specific brand of the flu shot they're administering (Fluvirin, Fluzone, etc.) and google "Fluvirin package insert." Voila, all the info is there.

Not always as formulations can change and they couldn't remember everything, like we can't always remember the exact ingredients of a recipe....anyway I guess most people just don't ask whats in it but accept the shot as "doctor knows best" lol. I have never thought that doctors know best and have always questioned everything and always will. I take responsibility for my own health and well being and if a doctor offers me a drug I will never take it unless I know whats in it and why I need it.

Just always make sure you say to your doctor "Why do I need this? If I don't have this can my body fight off what I have without medication? Could I wait and see and get back to you?"
