ok so i tried this on my dog, he is a german shepherd and the only 'tricks' he knows how to do is sit, drop which is lie down, heel which is when he is on his walk it means stay next to us, and muncha which means u may eat, when i tried it on my dog zeus he tried to snap at it, but then later he sorta learnt not to get it but he didnt realise it was on his nose because it was only a dry food peice but he has improved so hopefully he will learn soon, thanks for teaching me i hope zeus will learn

I think I am going to try this with my dog. He is a 11 yr old husky/shep. He already knows a ton of tricks and oddly I just taught him to roll over yesterday. He never liked to be on his back, but I guess yesterday was just a perfect day and now he's got it perfect.

...My dog's name is EINSTIEN, he is not even a year yet, we rescued him when my family and i was driving around, we took him to the vet and he was perfect nothing was wrong with him so we kept him... my little brother and I tought him some tricks like sit, shake(is sit down and give me you paw), high five(is jump up and give me your paw), and is working on lay down... i think this trick is the coolest of them all... im going to start working on this trick...thanks for the tips! peace out!

At one point, my dog could do this. She's still able to balance the treat on her nose and wait, but she doesn't flip it and catch it as often as she used to. Although it's cute when she paws it off her nose. :)

yeah i have the same problem cuz my dog knows "shake" or "paw" (whatever you call it) so when i tell her to sit, she automaticly puts her paw up to, and tries to grab the treat with her paw! i keep trying though and she's getting better, so i sugest just keep trying and dont get impatient or frustrated!

I have a minidog that wont catch anything in the air thats on her nose, she just tips her head down and let it fall to the floor. So i taught her to catch it from throwing the treat simply by saying "catch!" and throw it at her, and when she let it just hit the face and fall to the floor i grabbed the treat before she did each time. So she learned that if i want the treat i have to get it first = get it when its flying towards me, and it really worked! Just a tip :)
