  • When I was a teenager I didn't know much about 'Hardy' but listening to Python taught me who he was, what a Definite article is, that he wrote The Return of the Native and Tess of the d'Urbervilles the fictional area of Egdon Heath.Wasp hour was pretty funny too.

  • I'm so glad that people don't do this to me when I'm trying to write.

  • Oh, dear, he signed his name again!

  • That is much better than NaNoWriMo has to put out.

  • Before the next joke, there will be a short raspberry. [Thh].

  • Clarkson's favorite :P

  • Monty Python...pure f'n gold...

  • No lie...right as JC yelled about a wasp, a wasp flew into my room :(

  • I had the vinyl album of this. The coolest thing about the record was that it was a 3-sided record. It was a single vinyl record, but it had two seperate concentric tracks on one side running inside one another with completely different material. But you never knew what side that was because BOTH sides were labeled Side 2.

  • Where the heck did a proper remastering of this come from? My CD of it came from a pretty high-end chain store that never sold used or bootlegged CDs, yet it always sounded like it was sourced poorly from vinyl at the wrong speed.

  • whooo sunday times gang clockin in!!

  • Interesting to see how many of us poor sad bastards who have nothing better to to do on Sunday but look up AA Gill on You Tube.

  • @freebeerfordworkers I think I'm only half sad as I waited until Monday to check out A A Gill's sugestion. Check out Dinner for One, it's old but brilliant.

  • @panacea999.

Very good! Although I find AA Gill almost as disagreeable as Monty Python unfunny and thought I'd verify both beliefs in one action.

I certainly have not altered my opinion of either.

  • Shame on you : if AA Gill told you to jump off a cliff would you do it?

  • "A saturday afternoon in... in... in... in.. november... november spelled wrong!"

  • Listened to this over and over as an adolescent.

  • Doesn't make sense.

  • a sat...?

  • Superb Python brilliance - wonderfully supplemented by the silly wasp/tiger club interlude. Priceless!

  • "It looks like Tess of the D'Urbervilles all over again" LOL

  • ...he's not going back....it looks like he's going for the sentence...lol

  • wow... i remember listening to this one, spooned up against you, my darling... on a hot corner of salem street.

  • xD I have to laugh!

  • So funny im doing an essay on Thomas hardy and this helped.
