  • How did you get this moving wallpaper?

  • Could you record the sound for me with a better quality (perhaps connecting the sound output of the TV to line-in in your computer)? I would be very very grateful :-)

  • @thequorthon There is no way to make the sound come out of anything but the internal speakers. Samsung has some different sounds on their newer tvs nowadays.

  • Ok, anyone wanting to get rid of this startup/shut down noise, all you Need to do is go to menu, then go down to setup, then general, and then turn off melody. Sorted! Vote this up if it works for you.

  • @SA1ReMiiX It works for me until I turn it back on, the dreaded melody is back. How can I get rid of it permanently?

  • @SA1ReMiiX works when you shut it down, but when you turn the TV on again the melody returns :/

  • Can someone tell me how to get rid of this, if possible

  • please tell me how you have a moving background. thanks

  • how do we turn that off completely?

  • @yasini Under one of the menu options is External Settings. You can turn it off or change the volume there.

  • it;s just normal there's nothing wrong with it!!!!

  • @nelwyn2 when i hit my external, theres no other setting for the external on my tv. you think you know any other way

  • owww man. i like your dreamscene video very much. can you upload it anywhere. i searched it but can't find anywhere.

  • Hey i have a 32 inch Samsung from the looks of it mine is pretty similar to yours and makes the exact same melody. My problem is I can't turn off the melody. Every time I turn the melody off it works once when I switch off the TV, but when I switch the TV back on the melody comes on again all by itself and sets itself to medium. Tried so many times but can't permanently switch off the melody you have any idea how to fix this? Thanks a lot

  • @fangman21 Never seen that before. You could try updating the firmware since the original one had a few issues. Mine would turn off occasionally and even got stuck in an on/off loop until I unplugged it one time. Ever since the new firmware it's had no issues.

  • @nelwyn2

?? how do you update the firmware??

my LN46A650 is currently not turning on at all, it keeps trying though, with the clicking noise, it DID turn on after a few attempts yesterday though, no luck today though. = / Any help? Thanks in advance if you can..

  • @blaznangel01 Well it has to be on to update it so you may have another problem. You have to download the update from Samsung and put it on a flash drive then plug it in on the left side.

  • DON'T B A SHAMSUNG SUCKER !!

  • DON'T LET SHAMSUNG SHAMYOU !

  • This TV will break in few months, that is an early sign of failing circuit board? I knew this... I fix a lot of them?

  • hey dude, when you press the on button, how long does it take for the screen to turn on? and how many times the red light blinks?

  • @cepacol06 dude don't worry it takes like 3 seconds on my tv its completely normal.

  • i know my friend got a 32 inch for her birthday

and she switches it on and i got a fright when it makes that sound :S

  • And why is that? Lots of devices have startup sounds these days like cell phones, mp3 players, handheld devices, etc...

  • Can you turn this off? please tell me you can, i'm thinking about getting this TV but i hate beeps and melody's for electronics!

  • Yes you can turn it off.

  • @nelwyn2 I'm having this EXACT SAME PROBLEM NOW!!! Black screen but melody sounds. This is the 2nd time my brand new t.v. has broken! Samsung is giving me the complete run around! Contact them & get ready for the run around. good luck

  • Not sure what you mean, it isn't broken. It takes a few seconds and the picture comes on like it's supposed to. This video just shows off the melody sounds that's all.

  • @nikki2christ thats not a problem thats normal and it takes like 3 to 4 seconds for the screen to show the image

  • @nikki2christ its not a problem.... my samsung, sony, and my panasonic do this.....

  • @kraftdinner18 It has been a problem for me. My systems would turn on slowly, make the sound, until eventually no image would show at all. My Samsung systems were defective & getting my replacement was very hard, although the replacement was defective & had to be repaired within it's 2weeks of arrival.

  • @nikki2christ I've had a total of 3 systems defective. The replacement system Samsung sent was also broken after less than 2weeks. My replacement was repaired & I'm just counting down the days till malfunction. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

  • i hate how it takes so long to turn on

  • like 2 seconds -_-

  • It only does that on other input modes like hdmi, but not the tv channels. It isn't a big deal to me though. There's no reason I need to see the screen instantly when I turn it on. An old CRT has to warmup and takes a few seconds too.

  • yeah i knew that because of ur computer being displayed

  • We have the same TV's at work, they have them in every office, mine makes that same noise when i turn it off and on, but it's a 50 inch

  • Nice moving wallpaper

  • That wallpaper just showed us that the simple things in nature are beautiful... or is it the tv brain washing me? Nice purchase. Can I get your input between choosing this tv and a samsung DLP 750?--bigger screen, cheaper. Whatchu think?

  • i have a dead pixel on my tv how can i fix it plz

  • @gregglesdawrestler; contact the dealer or store, and tell them about your problem.

  • HOLY SHTI!! was ur desktop picture moving? THATs FUCKING SIC!!! where

    did u get it from??

  • that is fucking cool

  • where did you get that wallpaper that moves the leaves were like blowing crazy?

  • It's part of Vista Dreamscenes. It's one of the default backgrounds that comes with it. Not available for XP though.

  • same tv as mine

  • nice nice niceX1000 please post more videos on gaming

  • I thought about it but youtube's quality wouldn't do it justice.

  • thats a nice t.v i wat a 52" series 6 too lucy ass

  • this is the same tv im getting next month :) good choice

  • It makes a hell of a monitor too. :) Only thing is it doesn't support some resolutions that my regular monitor does so once in a while a game will make it go out of range then I have to switch back to change the resolution. I also received it with the box damaged and there was a huge hole in the side. It looks like something sharp poked through it as there was a small ding on the screen. I already filed a damage claim and they are shipping me another one. It's hardly noticeable, but it is there.
