  • We all have to go, but the way Brad went. :( . I'll never understand why. I wish we as fans could have taken on some of his pain to help him bear it, but that's just a wish, remembering him is the reality. Be forever in peace Brad.

  • Well Said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have always been a true fan of Boston. It hit me hard when I heard he died. I had an opportunity to attend a Boston concert in 1977 but didn't go due due to studying for finals. I regret giving those tickets away now as all I have is the recorded music. They are the best band I have ever heard.

  • This man was awesome! KILLER voice!! I saw Boston in the late 70's & they were awesome. This guys voice I will miss!! Some major eye-candy too! R.I.P. Brad!!

  • if this singer is not in the top 10 list of singers in rock, then ignore that list, because its no good.now this is a fact!!...no exceptions

  • RIP Brad Delp. He was suffering from depression. It's impossible to understand unless you're the one suffering. I saw Boston back 86 or 87. Talk about a talented bunch of guys. They wrote, played and sang their own music.

  • Tributo un maestro del rock, miembro y fundador de Boston una de las mejores bandas de todos los tiempos, Brad Delp vive por siempre¡¡¡

  • Brad was a class act all the way, from the first time I met him, he had priciples, and was a genuinely a good soul.

  • I NEVER SAW THE BAND BOSTON.....BUT I SAW BRADS BAND BEATLE JUICE.......GREAT BAND....

  • And Vegetarian, even better, omg what the hell was his issues,

  • What a shame, talented. i wish I had waht he was born with, some people just dont know what the hell they have or what god has given them. Ungreatful

  • AWESOME i could listen to this 24/7 and never get tired woooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhooooooooooooooooo

  • @MrTommyboy1999 true true

  • my alltime fav song

  • i heard about your death, Mr. Delp, on the radio back in 2007 but never payed my final respects. For what it's worth my mom loved your music (Boston) and I loved listening to it when she had your cassette tape playing in the Plymouth Duster. Rest in peace, Brad. Everyone you left behind loves and forgives you!

  • changed my life as much as the beatles music did years before. brad will live on forever in his songs

  • Great video

  • Only 72 thousand views and 4 dislikes? What is there not to like? Brad Delp truly epitomized the rock era as a musician. As an old song would say it, the day Brad died was "the day the music died." RIP BD.

  • Some place, some where, when another being in a distant corner of the Universe hears Earth's broadcast of this amazing voice, their first impression will be without a doubt : the Universe ROCKS...!

  • Simply an incredible artist, talent and person! What a loss! Brad was too good as a person and star if that is at all possible! WE miss you!

  • its so sad when you think someone has everything and everything to live for.And for them, they have nothing. Its a tragedy...Delp IMO, was one of the top 3 singers and song writers ever. His voice was simply legendary...thank U Delp for letting us be apart of your wonderful career...RIP .

  • Really so tragic one of the best voices ever... OMG! Every time I hear this song on the commercial I think of how he was just so overwhelmed that he killed himself. It is sooo deeply saddening to realize that such a gifted singer could feel so low and fall deep into the nadir enough to not see another option other than suicide. I was five when this song came out, but I have always loved it because of the lyrics, perfect pitches and the overall beauty of the whole song.

  • One of the greatest soundtracks of life, the perfect song. Brad will never be gone. he will be with me always.

  • We all miss you man and thanks for the legacy you left behind. Love you Brad!

  • The first side of the first Boston album can certainly be considered as one of the best Rock album sides ever recorded.

  • I'm so lucky that BeatleJuice plays in my area, they played my city's fireworks show last night. it was amazing. During the break More than a Feeling came on, and the whole band stopped and seemed to have a moment with each other. Nobody in the crowd even knew. But we did. Me and my fellow 3 friends started clapping. We knew. I never saw him with BeatleJuice, which I believe he is a core founder. but damn is the music great. Brad Delp lives on every time they play a Beatles tune.

  • Nice Tribute!

  • Czy ktoś wie, dlaczego popełnił samobójstwo????

  • This song is everything my childhood was about, the girls, the friends, the times, my frame of mind, my atmosphere, thank you brad

  • my favorite song in the whole world! Still gives me chills.

  • @TheShardaze me, too, 30 years still.

  • Such a huge loss to family, friends& rock&roll lovers world wide. His voice will live forever.

  • So sad, I heard about what a nice and considerate person he was. Loved Boston, he was a fantastic vocalist.

  • Mic folly!

  • I wish I could of known brad. I had No idea that he had such a Deep side to him. I guess I just passed it off as man this guy has got it made. I feel now that he was very smart guy stuck in a World that is not even close to being where he was at. He gave the World alot and Thank You Brad for that, the Best Music Ever. I guess the gods give us so much sometimes its hard to hang on. Your the Best Brad!.

  • @MegaTriumph1 I know that the angels that sing in heaven now have the best lead singer to compliment that they ever will have.

  • I miss Brad!

  • RIP to the greatest singer to have ever lived, March 9th will forever live on through your voice

  • This has to be one of the most requested and played songs ever. It's ironic as hell that the words to this song is what we do when we hear it. It takes me back to the Trail Drive-in in Ashland, KY and watching a girl named Bonnie walk by. Strange how music does that to a person so Brad we created memories together. You with that awesome voice and forever song and me with the courage to catch up to that girl. You will live on through the music and most of all our hearts.

  • @hometownboy84 WOO HOO KENTUCKY!!!! OWENSBORO!!!

  • Don't mourn his death, celebrate his life :)

  • Boston is the greatest band ever, brad and tom are a pair of angels sent from heaven, but we were not worthy of brads pure awesomeness so the lord took him back. brad you will never be forgotten.

  • i remember laying in bed at night, 6 or 7 years old hearing "more than a feeling" on the radio, and thinking to myself, "i've got to remember this song. this is definitely one of the best." i grew up with this band and they're honestly, i really think, are, if i had to rate all bands and music, number one. this song is truly that way as well. so horribly sad to lose brad delp!

  • God. He was such a beautiful person. Unreal amazing voice. God. Why???

Thank you so much for this beautiful tribute video. It really tears me up. If only we all had that talented and beauty that radiates.

    Something was just missing.

He looks like my uncle who's ultimate fate stemmed from depression.

People, get on a low dosage med. It works.

  • Anybody Who met Brad was truely Lucky!. Brad was maybe Doing to much at the time. Beatlejuice Boston Marriage. The man I'll never be song was maybe a hint that Brad was having some trouble he did not know how to deal with. People please reach out to others they will help you. God Bless Brad we sure miss him.

  • I cannot believe how disconnected I have become. I feel like he just passed away as I did not know. I am truly sooooooo sad....one of my MOST, if not MY MOST favorite band. Wow...what a way to end a beautiful Thanksgiving day. RIP my beautiful Brad Delp...your voice brought me many a happy days with such a beautiful voice in my head. May God Bless you wherever you may be.

  • The guitarist in our band "Dave Hines" knew Brad and said he was a great guy. What a talent and he is missed greatly. I never got to hear Brad live, but almost got to see his Beatles tribute band BeatleJuice. From what I understand besides singing the Beatles tunes to a T, he could just about anything. Obviously, the music with Boston is timeless and some of the best amercian Rock ever recorded. Just my thoughts. Paul Brown (from the Killing Devils)

  • @blisslet I hope that, wherever he is today, he knows how much he meant to so many of us.

  • I noticed that the older he got - there is a real beauty in his face. That broke my heart to look at those pictures.

We all have to learn to understand that depression is an illness. Some even think it is triggered by a virus. It shuts out all rational thinking and causes such profound devastation. Thank you for creating this great tribute and posting it for the rest of us to be reminded of how great he was.

  • Brad....you and Boston will always remind me of me and my best friend when we were teenagers both of us naive as hell and not having a lick of sense riding around in my 1979 Trans Am....and also of that summer I helped him and his dad build a drag racer which was great for me because my dad was never around...during that time of my life, your music was always on the radio...I wish I could've helped you through your bad times, like your music helped me through mine....thanks and Godspeed

Brad you are beyond amazing. The pain you felt, I would have burdened it for you if the world got to keep you.

  • Some of His pics looks like Cactus Jack ( Mick Foley). Great Singer has left us, but the music live's on.

  • Boston (and Brads' voice) are there in my mind as the sound-track to my youth. I can think of no other voice in Rock history as pure and as intense as Brads. I will certainly miss him.

  • I had my chance to see them live in Cadott WI and missed out. I really regret it now.

  • nothing better then BOSTON

  • in the studio he didn't actually sing those super high 'balls in a vice' notes, they were done using a harmonizer and editing the lower harmony parts out.

  • my brother and i are huge boston fans. my dad got us hooked on bostin some 10 years ago, and ever since more than a feeling has and always will be my favorite song. i will sorelly miss brad and the magic he left behind,

  • Outstanding tribute!

  • Those of us born in the mid to late 60's and early 70's will always remember a Boston song as part of the sound track of our lives. I, personally, had Boston playing at my wedding and ,four years later, at my first daughters funeral. I can always find a moment where Boston and the unique vocals of Brad high-light the event. God be with you, Brad, for you are most certainly leading the chior in Heaven!!

  • Thats quite a shocking and quite frankly, upsetting thing to hear. I hope the music heals you brother :)

  • In 1976, December, a scared lonely little boy first heard 'More Than a Feeling' on his bed side radio.

Thirty years later, Bradley, I'm still making music with my guitar and my voice.....THANKS TO YOU!

  • Respect!!!

  • RIP my friend, you will be missed !

  • That G5 he hits in the middle of this song is unbelievable! Kindest man you'd ever meet; warmest soul you'd ever know ... both of which you'd never forget!

  • If i could rate this higher i would. This is awesome. RIP Brad

  • howd he die?

  • Sadly, he killed himself. RIP

  • suicide >.>

  • God bless this Man. He was, for me, something of an inspiration. The band Boston is my favorite band of all time.

  • @Oxycontin me too

  • @Oxycontin They have been my favorite band too, since 1978. There is nothing on Earth that can match their sound. May their music live forever.

  • "if there is a rock and roll heaven, they must have one hell of a band"

  • de ke habla muerto??

  • There's just some things we are never supposed to understand. This is number one on my list. I miss Boston so much. I miss how, when they came out with a number one hit, I was drawn to it more than any other song.

  • Still think it's one of the best original 70's hits ever recorded.

  • He looked like Mankind at 35 sec. NO DISRESPECT TO HIM.

  • How could I forget. It was 1976 at the Philadelphia Spectrum. Face value of concert ticket $10.50, Boston, with the release of it's debut album performing More than a feeling. What bands we had coming out of that era! Rest in Peace Brad.

  • the most melodic rock singer of all time, we miss you brad

  • i love this song and he was a great musician RIP BRAD

  • the most gifted singer in rock history RIP BRAD DELP the world is not the same without you!!

  • I'll never grow tired of hearing this song.

  • been a fan since 1978. i was only 11. brad is the best ever!!! tom can never replace that kinda voice. but i hope boston will keep on. michael sweet, tommy, fran, all 3 have that special voice that can lead boston. their are other singers that could lead boston, like milli of steelheart. brad would want boston to keep on rockin. miss u brad. if had a dollar everytime your voice inspired me through your music i would have plenty of money!! rip bradley delp.

  • i remember the first time i heard more then a feeling. i was like 8 or 9 , but even at that age, i was blown away by brad delp's voice. wish you were here. we miss you, brad r i p

  • Brad Delp was the male Karen Carpenter. That's the highest compliment I can give him. God doesn't create voices like this every day.

  • yick! karen carpenter??!!

  • sorry, but, karen carpenter had a flat monotonous voice. brad delp's voice is amazing and all over the place.

  • it makes me cry.... RIP BRAD!!!

  • I remember the first time i heard this song back in 1976,i thought they were singing "lord i must be dreaming"? Ive been a big fan ever since.

All these years later when i drive down the road and here this song i have to turn it up!

Always wanted to meet Brad, and if there is a heaven maybe someday we will meet there.

    From a LongTime fan.........God Bless.

  • He was a friend of a friend of mine. I never met him formally. According to my friend, Brad would have been more interested in how you were doing than about himself. He was a down to earth, caring person from what I heard.

  • You had a gift that gave me great happiness. Your voice & music has given me joy, peace & happiness since I first heard BOSTON in 1978. I hope that you are at peace now. R.I.P. Brad

  • R.I.P. Brad

  • i figure ive listened to this song 1000x and it still gives me a goddamn chill up my spine. RIP BRAD

  • damn...I'm only fifteen...and boston became one of my favorite bands like a year ago, and here I am typing Brad Delp into youtube and this comes up...well this slaughtered my joy.

  • That's when I discovered Boston. When I was a youngster early teens. They inspired me to pick up the guitar. I've been playing ever since. Unfortunately I lost track of Boston. I was inspired out of the blue this very day to go looking for some Boston on Youtube, and found this. It's a weird, and sad feeling.

  • Brad Delp has to be one of the most pure talented voices ever to have existed. I can imagine heavens gates opening up and hearing this song..lol as corny as that sounds...

  • i cannot believe you said that! i always imagined heaven's gates opening to "long time." (right when "long time" starts and "foreplay" ends) wow! unbelievable you said that....

  • Boston has been my favorate band since 1976 when I got there first album!!! I was 9 years old!!

  • :(

    ahhh the memories

    rip
