  • damn u can see the hp on this thing fucking sweet.

  • @Tupples1 !!!!

  • Yeah that was a worthless video to learn anything from.

  • @shaglioni wordapppp

  • What maps does the accessport come with out of the box? Also do additional maps cost extra, or are they free?

  • @riehsrileyhhs not sure since got mined used. but free on cobb accessport site... custom ones from your local auto shop will cost money

  • what are the green cables you had to plug back in?

  • @jacqueal1 oh since the cobb unit stays on even when the cars off. thats a way to disconnect the power to the unit

  • Some say his door is still open.

  • @thatonemusician356 always iss

  • jesus, shut your door.

  • @kteevan1 whose jesus

  • Does the accessport show oil pressure?

  • @cjc791 everything lol !

  • This video was great and informitive.. how could anyone hate? I liked it! Thanks!

  • @only1god091786 wordapppp thanks bro

  • If you put in a new map, does the Accessport have to be connect at all times or does the ecu remember the maps that you put in?

  • yea before or after the 1000k mark

  • wats the point of it?

  • @NYCMarineFish extra hp and torque

  • @edlinnguyen yes but cant u screw it up or is it easy programing???

  • @NYCMarineFish nope can just uninstall when go to dealership and reinstall when yours at home

  • Does it increase acceleration?

  • @aliennationyo well if u increase torque and hp, then technically yes. anything noticle varies

  • @edlinnguyen ok. i plan to buy the accessport after christmas, even in 1st gear it doesnt pull. if u go on my channel and watch the video "wrx boostin" u can see

  • Is it better to flash the car under the 1000 mile break in since the stock tune is horrible?

  • @iTzMattz as long as you meet the requirments for each stage then i dont see why not

  • THE MOST CONFUSING VID I'VE EVER SEEN

  • @buyusgoods wordappppp

  • @flores818818 yea i have no idea where the guy got it sorry... i bet you can find a way better one, mine's nothing special lol ... look around nasioc or ebay

  • @flores818818 craigslist =) lol its a momo

  • what does each stage mean?

  • @TruAzn100 in simple terms - means stage of power each higher stage tends to give you more tourque and hp... but check their website to get more details

  • @flores818818 yea if you're not into going all out and spend a lot and its easily reversible when you sell car

  • Do the different maps come with the access port ?? Or should i take it to a tuner ?? Thank you

  • @freeskee nope can download from their website... custom maps for more powerful cars can get from tuner shop

  • Dude, turn the key to the "on" position and buckle and unbuckle your seat belt about 20 times to turn off that annoying beeping sound. Trust me, it works.

  • @ARJohnson815 yup it does !

  • when it is in live mode, do you still have to have the green connectors connected for test mode? like if i wanted to use it as a gauge?

  • @FIFAIsMyGame nope just to switch between modes. but live stats u dont need to

  • cool vid. i just bought one for my wrx 08 hatchback. i just bought an unmarried accessport used from nasioc.com my question for you use..when i flash stage 1--i basically connect those two green connectors for test mode first and then plug in the accessport to flash stage 1?

  • @BOLOE562 yup bc you cant flash unless those green connectors are connected bc u need to be in test mode... but you can get live stats on your car when their unconnected

  • @edlinnguyen thanks for your help. btw, i guess since my wrx is an 08 it doesn't have the test connectors. it just has a single white obd II under the steering column. I guess this makes it easier to flash maps. btw, you are lucky to have 93 gas in your area. i live in cali..gotta deal with shitty acn 91 octane ;/

  • @BOLOE562 but id trade for the great weather lol !

  • @edlinnguyen haha there's also pollution and smog here lol. btw, when i do a data monitoring log to see if my boost gains are met under stage1, do i just check the relevant boxes in regards to boost? what else should i look out for?

  • @BOLOE562 on top of my head im not sure if i ran into this sorry,

  • Horrible vid.

  • @THEDARTHMAGNUS i love haters

  • wat does eco mode do for the car? how many mpg can u get?

  • @xxnissansilviaxx decrease throttle response, can limit your rpm (or maybe thats valet mode).. just gas saving ways such as lower boost i believe.

  • @edlinnguyen and u can turn that on and off on the go?

  • @xxnissansilviaxx not if its your secondary option i believe... sorry i never did this i just left it on stage 2 mode

  • @edlinnguyen itss okay..wat mpg did u get in stage two? i ask cuz i wanna know cuz u daily a sti or u gotta run to the pump ever five seconds...

  • @xxnissansilviaxx its daily driver and im really light on the throttle compared to most - rarely push it at all unless im with other subies or a meet =) but with stage 2 and evo mode id probably get a little less than 300 miles per tank

  • did u replace the 04 dash with a 2005?

  • @1993seattle i have a 2007 . but i did paint part of the center console. its in my other video

  • i had to close out cause that beeping was so fucking annoying

  • @1993seattle so true

  • do you have a video where you show how to enable the launch control??

  • @leebanese0910

its on the cobb website or your care specific forums shouldnt be too hard to find for a subaru. try nasioc

  • will AP stage 1 void my warranty???

  • @bartmatton

just unload it before you bring it to the dealership.

  • for stage 2 you need a downpipe and exhaust right?

  • @sergsrt8 more specifically you need a turbo back exhaust - so full 3'' from the downpipe to the end of the exhaust.

  • perfect

  • Installing stage1 to my07sti is just plug and install stage 91octane right theres no cai or dp I need to install correct??

  • @lbori1

i think they all recommend cai, but the cobb website should have all that info.

  • What exactly does Anti-Theft mode do and how do you enable it?

  • @Killer91109

the car wont be able to start unless the person has the accessport - good for when you leave your car somewhere for long periods of times - like airports, etc

  • Fucking awesome. Can't wait to get one.

  • I have a 07 sti with turbo back. the cobb ap would get rid of the cel light do to the exshaust right?

  • @JoeGrizzly02

it should if the CEL came on after the turboback install. you can always diagnose the CEL with the accessport to see what engine codes are shown

  • When you buy this does it already come with a tuned map for the STI?

So is all that you do is install it to the car.

    Thanks

  • @katanamast279

im not sure since i got mine used, but its very easy to download the most up to date tunes from cobb website

  • this will not hurt your motor. it does increase hp and torque by about 50. this is not enough power to hurt your motor. everyone looks at stages differently. i believe stage two is turbo back exhaust, intake and a protune w/ the cobb ap. just my .02

  • will increasing the hp and tourque hurt the motor? Can you explain to me what these stages mean? Im new to performance cars. I just got a LGT and i am considering getting a port. thanks!

  • @9pt9

well certain stages require certain upgrades before cobb recommends you install it.

stage 1 is for any stock car i believe

basic stage 2 - turbo back exhaust - so downpipe and catback

no mods required for economy, valet or security mode...

but more detailed information if you search for you car on the cobb website

  • is your wrx a 06 or 07?
