  • who cares. you do realize that a straight pour releases the most flavor, right? that's actually how Germans pour beer in national beer tasting competitions. I kinda trust the Germans know what they're doing when it comes to beer.

    From what I've heard you should poor it in 45 degress and when you've poored 2/3 you should wait and let the bubbles settle and then poor the last of the content straight from above.

    first 2/3 of glass should be poured at 45 degrees. AFTER the surge, pour straight up and down... and one shouldn't let the guinness fall from so high.
