  • Danny Yen rules...why? because he knows solid, kick ass jujitsu and grappling skills will always be cooler then lame wire work.

  • Wait a minute the fight i saw didn`t have this part in it 1:52 to 2:59

  • @RockRaganzC

This is a different cut of the film.

  • I think the most impressive style in this video is how they can fall two freakin' stories onto boxes and shit and not be seriously injured.

  • Well...I guess Seraph (Collin Chou) REEAALLY knows Donnie Yen

  • Донни Йен всегда отличался умением, этот фильм не исключение!!! Very cool! A real Sanda fighting!

  • What a brutal fucking fight.

  • man i didnt no donnie yen new any jiu jitsu thts awesome

  • oh my god my favorite actors ever

  • MMA very well used

  • Comment removed

  • it's nice how some UFC tactics were incoporated into this film quite informative i see

  • true. especially Donnie's triangle lock

  • colin got a nice wife

  • Boxing may have derived from a form of martial arts, but its more of a sport like Wrestling. Dont get Western regular Mike Tyson Boxing mixed up with Martial Arts. Now Chinese Boxing is a different thing so don't get it confuse either. Mix Martial Art are martial arts that most Westerners use. Most of the moves you see Donnie use in this video are M.M.A. style Like how he used the Armbar, high knees and leg bar on Colin. Donnie used various Chinese Martial Art and modern day MMA in this video.

  • I also saw some judo, or atleast i think I did.

  • 5:05 de ashi barai ^__^, you are correct

  • What martial arts style do they used in the video?

  • loolll... mixed martial arts!

  • good grappling

  • Look at the way Donnie Yen punches, he is more of a boxer rather then a Martial Artist

  • box is a martial art

  • Boxing is not a Martial Art dumb ass, kick boxing yes, but not regular boxing, I know because i've been doing martial arts my whole life.

  • im 33 years old right now...i start practicing martial arts at 9 years old..the only dumm ass here is you man...any way of combat is MARTIAL if that include previous studies and analize the moves and the way of your muscles do the movement make that a MARTIAL ART...some definitions of martial art says "the martial way leveled up to an art"...i think you dont know much about martial arts man...in kung fu many of the stiles translated are shaolin boxing...drunken boxing......

  • ...western box is a form of modern martial art...try to study more before saying that you know a lot...because i think you dont know very much

  • For a so called martial artist you really don't understand the concept. Martial arts is fluid, not by the movements of your muscles or limbs, it's a reflection of your mind you should have known that by now if you were a true martial artist.

  • theres a lot of stiles in martial art that are not fluid at all, southern stiles of kung fu, karate, kick boxing.....art dont mean fluid...but..well i say yes to you..i dont want to keep arguing about this with you man...you are the man in martial arts

  • No i'm not, I may know a lot on martial arts, but you are right on your part too, not all martial arts are fluid styles.

  • well man i consider you a martial artist..but you and me have diferents views about martial arts, both are respetable, but i think box is a martial art, the oriental people that do martial arts, consider box a western modern martial art, in kung fu theres a lot of stiles that only uses fists, and all are called Chuan or Quan(fist or boxing), martial is in our nature as humans, when martial become an art was when we started to think about strategies and analize the martial way, and box do that ;)

  • Besides, i've been doing martial arts since I was 6 so don't come to me saying, I don't know much about martial arts when I have been doing it my whole life.

  • ur a fucking retard for thinking boxing is martial arts

  • a 14 years old kid saying that to a 33 years old man that have more than 25 years of martial arts experience...let me laugh at you little kid

  • if u have to bring age into something that ur wrong about ur a pathertic 33 year old man ..let me laugh at u dumb ass

  • You first have to define what martial arts mean in your own terms and then really say how does boxing fit into that. imo, boxing is just the science/art of punching in a limited scenario where two people agree to stand there and punch. Oh, and it requires the handwrap and gloves to be useful. A martial art to me, has to be a full system where it address all aspects of fighting in a realistic manner. Boxing has good things we can learn from, but I wouldn't call it a martial art.

  • Martial Art is not defined by mysticism, nationality, etc. Martial art is the use of the body and melee weapons in combat in its totality. Boxing, fencing, wrestling... these are part of martial art. If not, then what is Muay Thai? Is that not a sport? Also there is NO full system that addresses ALL aspects of fighting both efficiently AND realistically... There is no such thing as an effective segment of totality.

  • The only True Musician you ever have to know in your life. If you want to know real hiphop music.

He's like the Bruce Lee of hiphop musicians.

But He past away a few years ago.

  • 7:37 looks like The Rock

  • I've always thought that

Everyone else says he looks like "Lou Diamond Phillips" which is a good comparison

  • Donnie Yen Is The Best..Donnie my love for you knows no bounds:)

  • É MASSA

  • Donnie Yen is the best.

  • 3:54 Muay thai Kick right there...

  • what movie is this?????????????

  • flash point^^.quite an old movie but donnie is my idol.haha

  • old???? it's 2 years.... I still watch older movies that almost 10 years ago....

  • the sped up parts make it look corny.

  • You cut it short, the end of the fight is intense when he chokes him to death.

  • Colin Chou is Sarif from Matrix! He is also in Forbidden Kingdom

  • That's Flash Point

  • Colin Chou is Crazy man hes Awesome!!! !!

  • i love the fight elemants he keep olpen mind in every thing.

  • O_o this part isnt in the version i got

  • hahha to bad for u

  • You think this is real time fighting? or sped up a little...

  • This is a movie ... What do you think it was?

    The MMA?

  • I know its a movie okay I get the picture damn. Didn't need to be a dick about it.

  • Wow this is some CRAZY ASS FIGHT!!!

What's the other guys name? His ass is crazy too!

  • Collin Chou. He played Seraph in the Matrix.

  • Man this is some real shit going on. I'm sick of watching all the ostentatious and over-the-top kung-fu movies whereby those fighters are flying all over the place throwing punches and kicks like in a computer game or something. Now this is some serious fight that seems to be so real you think these guys are really bashing up each other. I'm getting this DVD soon.

  • at 4:33 the door just exploded. must be a lot of termites.

  • no not termites, just your standard movie door that explodes on impact

  • Of course Donnie Yen is a realism in martial arts---Bruce Lee is his idol.

  • holy crap this is a combination of MMA and wrestling because he did a germen suplex pin type of move.

  • Ya this is one of the best fights i've ever seen. Fact: on the Flash Point Dragon Dynasty DVD the reason Donnie Yen moved so much is because he was so sore from the fight scenes, he had to keep his mental balance so he moved around to keep up his stamina. He also wanted the fights to be real cause that's what the audience wants is realism.

That's commitment. BTW, get the Dragon Dynsty DVD loaded withe xtra goodies and a great sound and gorgeous transfer.

  • It's not incorporating MMA into a "Kung Fu" movie. Just cause it originates in China doesn't mean it's Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon style. Donnie Yen is more for realism. This is how a real fight between real martial artists would happen. A mix of all martial arts to consist of your own fighting style. MMA isn't its own category unless you're talking about professional fighting like UFC/Pride. Other than that this is basic combat fighting.

  • absolutely brutal!! i can't believe they stood up after they fell that high. even after that point they STILL tried to "finish each other". finish as in murder (crime), while putting their life in danger.

  • not called movie for nothing u know

  • OMG! i have to see this movie!

  • dang this is some real fight...

  • Very Fresh. I'm sick of seeing people flying.

  • very cool. its like a hong-kong-ized version of mma. future of fighting meets kung fu action movie tradition

  • 100% rigth

  • very nice he was able to add MMA element into Kung fu move it was super...well don.

  • Cannot wait to add this movie to my collection of martial arts/action movies, this is def one of the best i've seen in a longtime. The action direction in this film could very well be trend setting thanks to donnie yen. Donnie has constantly action directed some of the best action sequences in films, he should stick to doing that not only for his own films he could action direct other films as well. He could be up their with corey yuen and yuen wo ping in time if he wanted to.
  • Great fight showcasing different kinds of fighting style. I like the part where the old lady came out in between although not too sure what the heck she was saying.

  • she was looking for her 2 sons that she lost.....

  • this is going down as one of the greatest fight scenes of all time. Great choreography by donnie yen

  • 100% right

  • Awesome fight seen

  • ooo colin got owned :( i wanted him to win

  • me too, but i like Both

  • this is the China version so some violence is cut and an alternative ending was inserted which is different from the Hong Kong version.

  • The part where the granny comes and Collin challenging Donnie... I never seen that part before.

  • it's an additional scene in the China version to give more depth to Collin's and Donnie's character.

  • one of the most grizzly fights in this particular genre.
