I donated to the Red Cross for a tax credit. With the way he misspent the stimulus money, I gave it to someone else that will get the aid there--and faster.
First day, Red Cross showed up with funds. Walmart got scrutinized for a meek 500K donation. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt gave a mil.

Well, to be honest, in the broad spectrum of things 100 million dollars isn't a whole heck of a lot. I think that it's not only the right thing to do but a smart thing as well. First of all, it helps his image by distinguishing him from Bush during Katrina. Second of all, it makes America look a heck of a lot better to the rest of the world and may encourage other countries to help Haiti. Third of all, one of the great things about being human is that we have humanity. We help each other.

What I am saying is he did not with regards to how he handled Fort Hood it should of been his first remarks and was not which spoke volumes to me. As a member of a military family and one that had a front row seat to 911 I take the deaths of our soldiers and people personally. I do not think he does.

Bill Clinton found himself in a similar situation and brought in David Gergen back in the mid-1990's to help save his administration. The President must DEFINE his adversaries/opponents, not allow them to continuously DEFINE him. I must say, this White House needs a better job at Communications (perhaps Linda Douglass should be promoted to either Press Secy or Communications Director, she's outstanding).

He should be seen SURROUNDED by police, children (i.e. boy scouts/girl scouts), to show he believes in America's institutions as well. He should not tolerate bullshit from anyone in his staff, and come across as ruthless and tough against America's enemies (both foreign AND domestic). He should MAKE CERTAIN that HEALTHCARE passes and should show typical Americans who lost their healthcare and explain what this bill means to them. A picture is worth a thousand legal terms....

The President and his team needs to bring in some new blood to help steer his administration out of the rocky shoals they now find themselves in. The President must show more emotion by LOOKING DIRECTLY INTO THE CAMERA when addressing the American people, not just looking from side-to-side. People need to see ROADS and SCHOOLS and other works projects being built. He should NEVER bow to a foreign leader AGAIN, regardless of 'protocol', and should be seen as standing up for AMERICA.
