I'll bust on Stern only because if you line them all up, about 2-3 of them from the past 10+ years stand out as real franchise knockoffs. Original themed pinball is no longer, and that is why its easy to knock on them. Being said, the two that stand to me are Spiderman (for its three in one movie license, get more bang for the buck on characters), Family Guy mostly for stewie pinball, and Batman because its such a great license and play is reasonable. IM and Avatar have been disappointing.
If I had to choose 5 (Yeah I changed it), it would be World Cup Soccer, Jurassic Park, Apollo 13, Spiderman, and Playboy (Stern version). A 6th would be Lost in Space.

Well, had TZ but let it go.. I now have Family guy, The simpsons Pinball party, and creature from the black lagoon.. Those are my only 3 right now, plan on getting Dark knight next.
