  • How do you find places that are open to shooting?

  • @SeikanJax

Looks like he just went out into a desert.

  • @SeikanJax Its public land where you can go do whatever you want, basically.

  • Hey Nutn . Im currently in the US Army in korea. but i will be depolying with the 25id out of hawaii next october. What kind of Carbine would you reccomend if i was going to buy my OWN weapon to keep in the arms room.

  • really beautiful area looks a lot like Idaho i got a lot of family up there right over the border in SW Montana and awesome place tho

  • Kinda curious where you are! lol I live in the deserts of the southwest. I go out shooting all the time in remote places like this!

  • Is that the arizona desert?

  • Awesome shooting range. It would be a great place to set up a telescope at night too, assuming it wasn't too windy.

  • as per uaual another awsome video for the awsome nutnfancy i hope u never stop making videos and keep going strong i love ur knowledge on these topics and it has helped me out alot on decisions i have made on tac gear and stuff thanks nutnfancy

  • so one that looks like the north end of the majave wich ive trained in but the sun is slightly at the wrong angle are you near owyhee? if so nice area i know your sisteranswers for you? right? ether way from a vet to you mr. fancy dont appoligize for doing what you do . get the people in the know. thats the mission and you have been doing a (dress right dress) of a good job..... hooah

  • That is a massive scope on the LaRue upper, was it heavy?

  • Over two years ago, first video I watched by Nutnfancy was this one. You've come a long way and still going strong. I can't wait for the Nutnfancy Year TWO video!!!

  • @MadtactiX You must be busy, I haven't seen you around in ages!!! Good to have you back. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy :) Thanks! I've been watching all the new videos... I don't talk much, even outside of YouTube. I may be silent but I'm always watchin! I came back from an excursion out near Susanville here in Ca a few weeks ago, reminded me of this video and where I got the great info on new gear such as the Tacforce Crossdraw Vest.

  • @MadtactiX Well Nutn asked me the other day if I'd heard from you...I'll have to tell him that you're present, but quiet. ;) -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy Oh cool! The 'Lessons of My Father' series videos are fantastic, as they hit a lot of things that were passed on to me from MY dad, also a Vietnam vet. I hope to keep watching many years from now!

Oh, funfact from my trip... I have a PFI decal on my car, and some dude from out in the middle of nowhere recognized it and was a TNPer!

  • Man, I wish there was areas around me like that. Atlanta, GA area doesn't offer much in the way of available free shooting areas like that.

  • So what did Nutn do to drop the weight other than playing in the woods and desert?

  • @Bill11812 He eats on the go a lot and had to adjust to a healthier "on the run" diet. Mostly though, he credits being on the run so much for TNP. Less junkfood, more activity. -- Veri

  • You're in California, in the Mojave desert.

  • @NTRcookieNTR You are exactly correct, he he he.

  • where are you!! just tell me where your super secret locations are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • where do u get all that tactcial gear and equipment?

  • love that terrain! grew up in an area very similar

  • what lower is on that rifle and what kind of scope??

  • Love your videos man. Can i ask you to be more tecnical on rages fire volumes and tactical position taking? It will be nice if you make videos of real infantry tactis. Thanks man. You rock!

  • i bet in utah

  • Comment removed

  • you ex military???

  • looks like Nevada :D

  • a lot of people associate firearm owning americans with hoodrat gangbangers or redrecks. you prove them otherwise, good sir.

  • it says idaho on the right hand side ...

  • im gunna sy Nevada haha...or Afghanistan

  • Im guessing he's in new mexico. Looks alot like new mexico desert with all the juniper trees and sage.

  • Great video. Ive always considered you a hunting guy. Nice to know you are a "pro-critter" guy.

    Thanks

  • man , I love the double chin you had nutn.

  • Nevada, or one of the SoCal deserts.

  • Comment removed

  • rock on

  • I'm super impressed with integrity and consistency. There are a lot of BOZOs out there trying to look like a hard-ass when it comes to these types of videos. It's clear to me that Mr Fancy is the real deal. You're believable bro, and I dig your videos, appreciate your time, and thank you for such high quality content.

  • lol i have th same vest for airsoft, great vid nice scope

  • Your area is a spittin image of my favorite shooting area, 5 mile pass (Utah) Once you get away from the atv's its a giant tactical playground. No offense but, its full of insurgent bunnies that need to be delt with. Good vids, keep em coming.

  • It is in Utah for sure. He is so funny about how he acts like he is at the end of the world.

  • you have a good attitude about this stuff

  • tHATS MY favorite gun

  • wow nice gear. good video.

  • OMG!!! UHH... ur scope just gave me an orgasm....

  • Whow,look at his scope.

  • Holly Molly

  • Well, I can check off another TNP video as I spend some enjoyable free time catching up on The Nutnfancy Project.

Very cool proving grounds! You are fortunate indeed. Kudos to your advice for policing your area for anyone else fortunate to have access to a similar area.

  • that place is awesome and yeah im a pretty squared away dude id love to join the military or national guard.

  • hahaha

    sorry youre stuck with me

  • wow a 6 hour drive that is long from your house, man that must be heaven out there

  • you can tell that this was before he got as big as he is now because his video is less than ten minutes

  • Great video,man,keep it up

  • This video reminds me of a simpler time when you had a lot less subscribers. "I don't plan on coming out here a lot" and "I don't know if I'll get to gun review." HAHA. Little did you know you wold become the youtube guru for all things tactical. I hope you are making money on the project. As you state, you keep it real and I feel that. As long as you review every gun ever made, I think you'll make people happy. Much love from W.I.

  • Loving the desert and the weapons keep it up!

  • if u can review the springfieid XD9 love your videos

  • he has a review of the XD's

  • Could someone tell me if theres more parts to this video? and what they are titled? I didnt see anything labled part 2 or such

  • i used live in west Idaho :)

  • you are awesome. I love your videos. I recently bought a Glock 22. I love it. I am applying for my CCDW in Indiana. I will carry my gun 90%. I bought my glock in part based on your reviews as well as other sources. Keep up the good work. Thank you for all that you do.

  • HOLY CRAP.

Just have to say you have lost alot of weight since this video came out. You can see it in the face.

  • you seem like a normal dude ......ill subscribe...i like ya.....its hard to find some half way normal down to earth people on here

  • you're not a cop.. it's stop signs, not sines

  • type o bitch go to hell

  • another sign that you're not a cop. Police officers do not act the way you do.

  • and you let your son use that kind of language, either way, there's something wrong with the both of you.

  • my son is 18

  • and their is not one thing wrong with me

  • cops are worse. ever been to chicago/LA?

  • I hear ya, lived in LA for 9 years, that's why I moved.

  • I don't like people who shoot signs and litter on the land where I shoot either

  • very informitive mate ,HooRha to that.

  • When I saw the pickup, one thought came to mind: How do you transport all that stuff openly without being pulled over and questioned or raising concerns to other motorists?

Granted, I'm a city boy so I know nothing about any of this, but it would seem kinda hard to go around the freeway with a truck load of guns bouncing around.

    So please, educate me.

  • cause it isnt an actual 'clinic.' its the place or 'clinic' he uses for these types of videos for the internet

  • Great videos

    thanks for your service

have you thought about doing a video in Botswana, we got great areas here

  • Love your commentary man!

  • thanks for all the hard work .

    keep it up

  • Keep it going bro, keep it FUN FUN FUN. We don't want this to be a huge chore for you.

  • Yeah! Rock on nutnfancy project!

  • he is not teaching how to shoot, but revewing the different gear tard

  • that looks like allot of fun, fun video to watch, and learned allot, keep it up!

  • You know you said, "Im not telling you where it is". You say its in Idahi in the discreption. ( I no its not in Idaho) but if you say youre not saying, dont say.

  • What he meant was he's not giving up the specific place in Idaho that he's at.

  • Big state. Just saying the state isn't giving away too much, really.

I don't know much about the topics discussed in these videos, but I enjoy them and have learned from them. The combination of positive, humble attitude and expertise here is a winning combination. Great videos.

  • Dude Nutn, i totally agree with you about picking up shells and not shooting signs. When I go to the range I always in up picking up other peoples shells as well as mine.

  • do u reload them?

  • No, i just throw them away, but that would be a good way to save some money.

  • looks like Northern AZ

  • thats what i thuoght

  • Nut'n RULEZ

  • Word.

  • true dat!!

  • i love his reveiws but the starting "rant" was alot longer than usual..?

  • Better than all the firepower tv where they don't test weather conditions

  • good video!!!

i have learned a lot from all your videos in regards to survival and put them to practice whenever i go camping.

    keep them up!!!

    cheers

  • why just soldiers?

  • Dude, he said "law enforcement, and the armed citizens a.k.a. "Citizen Sheepdogs"

Not just soldiers. I've learned tons from him

    :D

  • Me too, and I don't even own any guns yet...but his vids are better than TV, awesome and entertaining.

  • Right on!!!

  • Yeah Dude~!! I too am for leaving the animals alone. I love animals. I'd rather shoot bad people, for of course, defensive reasons only. You Rock!

  • gosh id love to have a place like that to go i live out east and i dont even have any dirt roads around anymore.

  • My Review of Nutnfancy: The criticism leveled against this guy by trolls is baseless. The guy is both intelligent and self-deprecating without being obnoxious. His reviews are FAR more thorough than ANYONE else on YouTube. I'm new to guns, but I'm working on my arsenal. Nutnfancy: You rule, dude. Fuck the haters. Keep on keepin' on.

  • ditto

  • Says the guy with zero videos to give him any credibility.

    Your troll gets you 0/10

  • you dont have time to make a video but you have time to surf the web and make stupid ass comments on peoples videos.

  • lots of great gear there man....... drool drool.

you could hide forever out there if you needed to.

  • Great Guy Man

  • Hey man i just wanna say ty for the plethora of knowledge teamed up with first hand experience and ur sensitivity to the lil guy with small pockets that don't make 10 grand a yr I was wondering if u would be able to maybe do a tactical shooting work shop going over shooting basics like stances and aiming to strategic positioning in engagement to shot precision and room clearing and maybe knife workshop of the same kind thanks man keep it up il be watching

  • hey i just wanted to say that your videos really get out there. i personally know a soldier that served in iraq (australian soldier) that watches all your vids and he loves them. keep it up

  • I just want to say thank you for all of the hard work you put into all of your videos. I think it's great that you do this all out of the goodness of your heart.

Your efforts and all the good advice are appreciated.

  • He was in the Air Force, so he is a Military man... There are those who actually love tactical equipment and firearms who cannot join the military due to Medical reasons (I am not included in that but I have some friends who cannot join due to medical issues)

So they may love it but cannot be in Military or LEO jobs because medical reasons. (just keep that in mind)

  • buga hes stated many times hes a military member

  • yeah i missed that part. i just wanted his guns that's all :D

  • ooooooo reminds me of my homeland in Arizona :)

  • Very nice setting indeed.

  • That looks like west Texas.

  • Nutnfancy do you mind answering the question about dessert gear? You defiantly have more experience then I do and want to know your opinion on how tan gear does at night or even in woodland?

  • that looks like arizona or new mexico some place down in that area

  • its idaho

  • It could be the magic valley of idaho, the northern part

the northern magic valley is a great place...its where the sagebrush desert, clashes with the cascades.

also..in the southern magic valley there are the "south hills", an oasis of forrested mountains wonderfull place

sept in the magic valley is a good time to see the potato's, millions and millions of them

that could also be any number of states in the western US

  • Hey - ever think about producing some kind of DVDs? survival, tactical, etc. You're probably saying, what do you think this is? But, I'm talking about selling them. I am not all about making money, but I am realistic. It seems like there is some major opportunity there. i'm not familiar with youtube, so maybe you are already making advertising dollars, but anyway, just a thought. Love the videos, have learned a lot as a non-military but proud and responsible owner.

  • Seems like you could have your own online business too - Get your FFL (although I'm sure you have it already). Keep the links to your videos, etc. I hate going into a gun shop or gear store and the person helping me doesn't know anything and/or has no experience. If I had your knowledge and experience I'd be all over it.(easier said then done I know, but definately doable).

  • looks like new mexico...

  • nutnfancy you rock u make he best vids u've rele helped me out

  • great video again, dude!

  • another great video, nutnfancy.

  • Hey I am former Gulf War vet. I have to say if he were a soldier he would make an excellect soldier and probably one of the best. Some people just don't need to be trained by the gov't. They have it in them to learn on their own. And he does say that hes just teaching what he knows. SO I respect this guy for spending the time to make videos to educate the people who know absolutely nothing. GOOD JOB PATRIOT

  • How someone talks, or what they wear has no influence on the value of their advice. Being in the military just means that you've been trained by someone else, and tested that training under fire. Lack of military service isn't an all enveloping thing.

    So fuck off.

  • You know, you are a cool guy! I have to get get out of strict ass california anti-weapon state and get to where you are! If you only had a 7.62 cartridge in public, they'd throw the book at you! Keep doing what you're doing! Semper Fi.

  • he says dude a lot, anyone else notice that.

  • Yeah!

  • ma quanto parli!!!!

  • After watching you extended stay video series and some knife review I instantly have respect for you and I know collectively this respect is felt by all of your subscribers mutually.

I haven't seen you trying to be anything that you are not.

  • Nice environment. I think its important as responsible gun owners to leave it as you found it. I liked the fact you relate this low-impact philosophy into your video. Its the low IQ jackasses who ruin it for the rest of us. One of my favorite videos of yours so far. I have a lot to view still. I enjoyed seeing you outside and getting a look at you all geared up.

  • NRA. Good man
