I had ton of VHS tapes of The Scene from 1983-87. But almost all the tapes were stolen in a burglary. I know I still have some tapes of cheryl peoples. Man than girl could DANCE!

This is such a nice representation of late night Detroit. R.J. Watkins hosting the New Dance Show. Terrence Parker's "Taxi Cab" starting things off. You get to see the Count. Park's Ribs. The Broadway.

This is what every adolescent growing up in and around Detroit watched late at night. The music was awesome. The dancers... They kicked Soul Train's ass! Commercials for Smiley's Shrimp Shack, Watt's Club Mozambique...

great memories, I think I see China Doll dancing. This is strictly a Detroit thang. You had to live there to really appreciate it. Out here in Cali, they never had anything like this. Soul Train had nothing on this show.
