You can read about the first temple in I Kings 6. It was built in 960 bc and was destroyed in 586 bc. The second temple was built in 516 bc and was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. That can be found in 2 Chronicles 36. Jesus was in this temple when He was here. They will be building the 3rd one very soon. The Temple Institute has all the equipment ready for daily temple living. They have the priests crowns and robes. They have the blueprint. It will happen soon. Praise God.

I've been thinking that God picks us, not other way around. I don't know how to not believe in God or Christ, even when I wasn't saved it wasn't a question in my mind. Well i believed in reincarnation etc., and worked with all these famous "spiritual masters", having contact with UG Krishnamurti, Sai Baba, adi da, dalai lama etc., and evwentually reached the 'enlightenment'. Like I said, we've all sinned and fall short of God's glory. Therefore, we all deserve eternal separation. God, by His perfect nature can't be in the presence of our Sin. However, I believe that God draws people to accept Jesus and be saved for His own Glory and pleasure. Good question brother. I think the fact that God knows the future doesn't mean He predestined us to seek Him. I think to look at it as "predestined" is dangerously close to judging people, which is a no no. So I just trust and hope in God. I know He will get it right in the end :)
