i was lucky enough to catch them in a small club in olympia. there was no stage, so the band set-up on the floor. rich gilbert was directly in front of me...i could've reached out and adjusted the volume on his guitar. frank was about 5 ft to my right. without a doubt one of the best shows i've seen (and i've seen the pixies 3 times). i hope these guys can get back together.

yeah i drummed for the opening act at this show. we were late, so we went from harrisburg to NY in 3 hrs. flat. didn't realize i was doing eighty in second gear 'til an hour into the trip. great lighting/
