Basques aren't dark skinned, not really, though as shown in the video, some do have tanned skin and black hair.

Basques (and other northern Spaniards) came out lighter skinned than Belgians and SE English in Jablonski & Chaplin's skin pigmentation study ("The evolution of human skin coloration") and of similar skin tone as the Irish & Welsh. Unless you think that all these peoples are "dark skinned", then no, Basques are not really "dark skinned". On average these peoples are "darker" than Scandinavians, but not really "dark skinned" (as in Pakistanis, Indians, etc.)

It would be too tedious to deal with all of them, so I will only point out the most obvious ones: 1- The map @ 0:26 is NOT in "The races of Europe" but in Grant's "Passing of the great race". Grant was an American Nordicist (and he despised Alpines, whom he considered inferior to both Mediterraneans and Nordics.) 2- "Mediterranean" (like Alpine & Nordic) is not a skin, hair or eye color, but a set of general skeletal/cranial traits

This is an interesting video. I don't particularly mind being regarded as partly middle-eastern; there are many legends linking the British Isles to the semitic world, such as the "Lia Fail" (stone of destiny) being taken from Egypt to Spain, then to Ireland and then to Scotland.
