Sonic Adventure 2 was cool back then when I was a teenager. But tbh I play it now and I find the shooting and treasure hunting stages pretty boring. Shadow and Sonic stages while being linear, are fun to play. Sonic Generations is the right direction new Sonic Games should take.

Sonic Adventure Three would be a perfect installment, all new detailed chao, better and FASTER gameplay, all that put back would be great, especcialy if they brought back Shadow since he "allegedly" died after Space Colony ARK (it's pathitic, Shadow gets his own game and it sucked, especcialy since if nobody noticed NOBODY was surprised he came back, it was just "Shadow, do this" "Shadow, do that" "Shadow, fuck me" from everybody) so Sonic Adventure 3 with Shadow surviving and continuing it

play the Wii and/or PS2 versions and you will find them DOUBLE-ENJOYABLE. believe me =)

they take out all the annoying features in the 360 and PS3 versions, such as the RPG elements and ANNOYING ASS PLANE LEVEL. believe me, you would LOVE IT. =D

the problem with it being more speed is that in the 360/PS3 versions theres TOO MUCH SPEED, because ironically, when fully upgraded, Sonic moves just TOO FUCKING FAST to the point where you cant even see whats coming up in advance, and you just fall into shitloads of traps that are often unavoidable. as for the Tails Levels, I found them to be simply ANNOYING AS HELL since its basically just a GIANT QUICK-TIME EVENT, and not even a very GOOD ONE at that...>_>

If you look at Sa2 and SA.... they had a small roster of characters.... SA had Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Gamma, Big, and even Metal Sonic in SADX... Sa2 had Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge Shadow and EGGMAN... plus 2 player characters... if it was named Sonic Adventure 3 then they just messed it up

@Greenflashblur2 Sonic Adventure 3 has already been made several times with Sonic Heroes, Sonic 06, Sonic Unleashed, and even Shadow the Hedgehog. All of these games play similar to the first two Sonic Adventure games (over-arcing storylines, different play styles, multiple missions from levels etc, and the first 3 were all planned to be SA3 from the beginning before getting their titles changed.

@Sacrificial24 each to their own but I say Sonic 3K is the Best Sonic Game, mainly because most other candidates for the best Sonic game have some flaws:

SA1: Sonic has good, natural physics and the rest are fun but Big is bloody awful.

SA2: Sonic and Shadow are fun but a bit stiffer than SA1. Eggman works in a Mech but Tails should not have mirrored his gameplay style, and Knuckles' stages are 'orrible.

Unleashed: Medals should have been abolished in favour of more straightforward progression.

@huslerk They're not that bad really, but I'm not too keen on them because the levels are much bigger than they were in Sonic Adventure 1, and you have to look for one at a time. I do prefer SA1 to SA2 but SA2 does have a better Chao world, better looking graphics (though the levels often don't seem as 'Sonicy' as Adventure 1) and better voice acting. Surely we all remember Knuckles' "Oh No" line from Adventure 1!
