I was there last night...Driving home drunk, no God was driving and speaking directly to me through this song. I had my eyes opened so wide I couldnt believe it, even though I couldnt see the road through the tears, God kept me on the road. BTW it was a dirt road so I wasnt endangering anyone but myself. Still not ok to drive drunk.

I heard this song at Winter Jam last weekend and it spoke to me in a way that amazed me. I went through some crazy stuff a couple years ago, but through that I felt God right by my side. Now as I've grown in my faith and felt like I knew more about God, I feel like He's further. But this reminded me that it's the same God and He's always there. As you get closer to God, He steps back and lets you walk on your own, similar to how parents back off as their kids learn to walk on their own. <3

Went to the Kutless concert another Christian rock band, and my mom sponsered a child and we got the newsong album with this song on it. She kept one and gave the other to me. I have played the album constantly espcially 'The Same God.' this song really spoke to me becuase there have been a couple times my faith couldn't be held down. Its tricky, but no mattter what your faith in Him and your family will get you through. God bless all you guys who have been commenting and praying. Your a miracle

Wow guys same for me! I did the whole pre-order thing too! I'm fortunate enough to be friends with some of the members of NewSong and I had mentioned to one of them that I felt like this song was written for me too! I seriously balled the first time I heard it. The day I heard it for the first time, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. God works through such amazing ways!
