2010, Canada will have by far the best team on the ice. Sure the Russians have Ovechkin, Kovalchuk, Datsyuk, Malkin but we have more depths and much better defense.

Who wouldn't win with that roster? That was insane roster. If that wasn't enough, Canada got lucky, they didn't have to play against Czechs or Swedes in the playoffstage.

Things change when the playoffs come around. We were the better team in the playoff stage, it wasn't the looney at center ice, it was those players who played their hearts out and kept going. Lets not forget how the Swedes lost to an easy team and how the Czechs were skated to the ground in that final early round matchup against Canada.
