  • And of course a great THANKS to the 50 heroes of Fukushima.

  • WOW. wonderfull video, really great done. RIP to all of the japanese people who lost their lives in this catastrophy.

  • We were moved to tears.

    thank you from JAPAN !!

  • like it!

  • we need Goku.... ;)

  • Tears just came down my eyes. Humankind will never be able to express enough gratitude to these amazing people who were saving all of us. People involved in preventing the biggest catastrophe, I wish all the best in your lives.

  • Excellent tribute video to a terrible tragedy and 50 brave men of iron courage. Japan will prevail through this difficult time. From the United Kingdom.

  • I can never get over this video. It's amazing. Julius really did something extraordinary and special with this video. This deserves over a million views.

  • Great!

  • I have just realized that you uploaded this video only a few days into the crisis of the Fukushima reactors. You composed and produced an awesome piece of original music and edited a well thought-out video with the right statements, all this in a couple of days, and managed to present the Fukushima events in an artistic way from the beginning, while also generating donations. I'm impressed.

  • @Juliosobos-I respect and treasure this song and please ignor the ignorant people who do not realise what it takes to make a day's wages or to sacrifice for their country and family's safety. Sad that they are so ignorant. :(

  • I donated to the Red Cross like I previously mentioned to Julian, but it took them forever to even consider distributing the 1 billion they received for Japanese aid. I would encourage to possibly try Salvation Army or a different one? This kind of incompetence and unresponsive action shouldn't be supported. It's ridiculous. It shouldn't take more than a month to evaluate the level of damage. People are starving in Japan, while they place the money in their general account. Come on!

  • @yourtreat2 Wait, the workers profit as well? How so? I don't see workers profiting from corporations here in the U.S. On the contrary, corporations profit from the exploitation of their workers. The workers in Fukushima at this very moment should be admired and respected. They CHOSE to fight even at their own peril. I mean, who would do that, knowing that radiation is silently killing them in the process. TEPCO is to blame, but not the workers. They have honor and are doing it for the people.

  • @Reminisce86 I second that. The F50 don't profit from tepco's operations in any way. Not to mention that they voluntarily stayed at the plant, and no payment for the kind of work that can cost your life is ever a good deal. To quote from Julius' site: "Of course, it’s not the investors, owners and management who end up fixing things – it’s the employees. Things are so reversed."

Btw Red Cross collects money onto a pool, some organizations collect it for a specific cause. I went with jhelp

  • @AutumnLightt The TEPCO workers that made their living at the risk of what is now a global disaster. They profited at they expense of everyone. They dedicated their soul to making money by nothing less than maintaining and building multiple nuclear weapons that have finally exploded. And you idealize them for their immorality. Were this to happen in China they would be shot, and rightfully so.They SHOULD CLEAN UP THEIR OWN MESS!!!

  • @yourtreat2 Immorality, or working for a paycheck to feed their families? They had nothing to do with the actual building of the plant and/or reactors, so how does that automatically make them responsible for the meltdowns that are taking place? Based on your logic, all us Americans are guilty for standing behind a President, who waged war on Iraq for no reason at all. They had no ties to the terrorist networks that were behind 9/11, but since we were easily deceived, we're to blame also. Right?

  • I donated three hundred to Red Cross. It is not much, I hope to send more. I would really like some way to also send blankets and clothing and other much needed stuff. Anyone know who I go to for that?

  • touching video i meant to say

  • I think that is the million dollar question right there, How many of us would endanger our own lives for the sake of someone we don't know ??? Very thought provoking video, again thankyou for such a touching and sad fact of reality.

  • Update: we reached 30,000 views in three weeks... and the Hymn & video inspired approximately $10,000 in donations! I take this on any day over a million views for a shocking title and content without purpose. Thank YOU for making it possible.

  • @yourtreat2 What doesn't make sense about your argument, is the fact that you say that the workers let this happen, so they can profit from it. Please explain to us all how getting high dosages of radiation, which is of course cumulative, is a fair trade for paper money. I truly do not see the rationale in your argument whatsoever. Of course they are being paid for it. You think they don't have families that need financial support? Come on. Moral of the story, no amount of money is worth taking

  • @yourtreat2 in high levels of radiation. In the long run, they are doing it for the country. It's unfortunate that the only way to fix the problem is to have volunteers (sacrificial lamb types of individuals) to clean up a mess, that their employers are responsible for. Notice how GE still plans to move forward in the nuclear industry and sees this event as irrelevant. They say the plant lasted for 40 years with no problems, so this is no reason to deter them. Who are the bad people in this

  • @yourtreat2 picture? GE (Corporation) who basically built the plant, or the workers who are earning chump change, in exchange for their slow deaths, just to help their families and nation in time of crisis. You are looking at this from all the wrong angles.

  • @yourtreat2 Hey, lets see you stick it out and hang around knowing your gonna die, if your job has something this bad happen. Bet you would be the first to run to the hills. So, yeah, they are heroes. They took these jobs because they paid good and they were qualified for this type of work that would definetly support a family. Many in the world look to the jobs that are lucrative and do not think this kind of thing can happen.

  • @yourtreat2 So, your saying anyone who works in a nuclear power plant is out to kill us and deserves to die. Hope your living without electricity, hypocrite. Must be easy to big mouth on a computer thousands of miles from this tragedy. but, guess what?!! America has power plants built near oceans and on fault lines too. What are you going to say if an earthquake and tsunami hit one of them? And we know, there are more than fifty. It has become a title of honor and respect, not numbers.

  • @yourtreat2 And we refer to all of them, not just fifty of them. but, there, you go, showing your ignorance again. Everyone with common sense and brains, already knew there were over a hundred. And some of these workers you critisize come from America, one cannot even talk to his wife harldy anymore and she and he has to deal with his possible death. Does that make it different for you? To be able to connect this with America? Grow up.

  • @yourtreat2 I worked a popcorn factory for years, just to keep my family off of welfare. because the big cats don't want to pay workers, what they charge to live. And I don't see you forgoing usage of power......Does anyone see Yourtreat2, going without electric to save people from having to work at a nuclear power plant???????? If you don't see them doing this, thumbs up this comment, please. No, you don't and yet you want to blame them for being greedy. How childish can one person be?

  • @yourtreat2 These people took on a responsibility that they knew, far better than you or I, would or could kill them, because they knew their was no one else with the knowledge of this plant to save their country. They are scared, they are resigned, they will not benefit as they will overtime die. But, they work through this, because they are also brave. A term you have read of, but from your comments, stay as far away from as possible. You will never know true bravery, because it involves

  • @yourtreat2 being brave through the fear and struggling to do yoru job through the fear and personal pain and torment. Something a soldier could understand, but you never will. I feel sorry for you, as you must be young enough to never have experienced real trauma and you must have been protected all your life from actually growing up and learning about the real world and those who work hard to survive in it to protect your dumb rich asses. That is something that should change and soon.

  • @yourtreat2 By, the way, I was single and alone when I had that job at the popcorn factory and I knew it could give me severe lung problems. But, I did it because it had great life insurance and great pay, 12 dollars an hour! And i could support my two kids on it alone without welfare. These workers had no say in where the plant was built, they merely took a job to support their families. Hope you don't ever have to decide money over safety, guess you would let your family sink. Right?

  • @yourtreat2 And, yeah....after ten years at the popcorn plant, I have COPD...to deal with for the rest of my life. WHat scars do you have? What trauma have you experienced? WHat JOBS have you held? You criticise the wrong people. How about looking at yourself and all the nuclear energy you insist on having in your household. How about all the special rights you expect that need nuclear energy to run them? How about the big bosses who built the plant? But, no easier for you to blame the workers.

  • we have a concert here(Okinawa) running all weekend, the bands are doing it for free as are the staff and promoters,100% of the money collected will go to the red cross of Japan , they will be on hand to take donations and the city offices are collecting items. It stopped being about American and Japanese, it became about help others.....

  • Thank you. Great video and music. I am from Japan. About so called Fukushima 50 they are actually temporary or contract workers and not full time benifit worker of Tepco. They full time Tepco workers and managers are cowards. I hate them. By the way, did you use a virtual analog synthesizer for this music? or is it PCM sample data? I like synthesizer music. Good job!

  • congrats on the success of this video!!! Great music Julius!

  • Thank you very much for your great video. I'll try to spread this. Fukushima 50 are working for this big problem all day long... Many greetings from Japan

  • Powerful tribute to the Fukushima workers. Thank you for creating the Hymn and the video.

Those in the interest groups who falsified inspection data and kept the plant running should be the ones risking their life in the reactors now.

  • What song is it?

Please answer as soon as you can

  • I can't imagine what kind of souls the 4 idiots have that rated this inspiring video negative. Not only a great tribute, but it's helping to raise donations to Japan! If you don't like people showing their respect to those who might be ruining their health to save everyone else's, just go away back to your National Enquirer.

  • @hazykristike They must be gingers.

  • a tribute...they are not longer maybe looking a the internet maybe the tv who knows, let continue to pray for their souls , their families, this friday I am donating to CAtholic relief .. the heroes are so because they gave their life to save us...however they are not the only one to pay the price, humanity will have to pay the price, many millions will be affected by the aftermath of this horrible accident! specially children babies

  • a tribute...they are not longer maybe looking a the internet maybe the tv who knows, let continue to pray for their souls , their families, this friday I am donating to CAtholic relief

  • Mahalo. Thank you.

  • After watching this video I've donated to Japan and shared the video with my contact list. I hope they will do the same. Thank you for the inspiration.

  • Thank you for your views, great comments and amazing messages... During the first week, together, we have inspired many to donate, and helped to raise awareness; all kids & adults on the planet should know about the Fukushima 50. Please keep SHARING this piece. てください。 コメント共有

If you let me know through which charity organization you donated to Japan, I will send you "Hymn to The Fukushima 50" - the music of the video to you as my "thank you". Just go to juliusdobos. com & send me your email.

  • Just a note to everyone that I emailed Julius for the "Hymn to the "Fukushima 50" music and had the mp3 on my phone an hour later. The music is very powerful, top quality, and brings back the emotions from the video. I will share it with my friends to inspire them to contribute to the relief efforts.

  • Thank you for this wonderfully thought out and loving tribute to Japan and to the Men and Women who are fighting for the lives of thousands if not their own...

I lived in Japan as a child, Yokota Air Base and have visted Tokyo and other parts. I've done nothing but cry over this disaster, remembering what I do of the Japanese...I may be American but Japan and the Philippines will forever be my true home. Survivor of Mt. Pintatubo, clark air base, Luzon Island phillipines....

  • I donated money to The Red Cross for Japan :) I seriously hope it doesnt gain the disasterous result of Chernobyl...

  • Thankyou for a wonderful tribute video. And im sorry to hear about your grandmother. The saddest thing is that these people are expected to sacrifice their life, either way. No amount of compensation can make up for a life, selfless is not the word to describe these couragous men and women. They truly are Heros . God Bless Them

  • breaking news... Plant #3 has a reactor breach and it is possible that #2 does as well... there may be no stopping it now. They have evacuated #3 and they have no word on what they are going to do now

as per press release a few hours ago

  • I commend you for making this video. They deserve everything. They truly define what a genuine human would do for the rest of us. May they live strong.

  • @cynthiadupuy I think they have to stabilize the crashing market so it would not further hurt Japan in the long run. I don't think they want Japan's economy to crash on top of the disaster. That will probably make Japan's recovery impossible. Not to mention it affects other countries too.

This video was to honor the HERO'S that are fighting for others, not just JAPAN but the whole world, that will be affected by radiation. It really saddens me that this is what you have to say about it.

  • @cynthiadupuy ur such a dickhead... they lost most of it now.. and didnt u hear that the bloody cost of all this is 270 BILLION?? no u havent and instead of having respect for all those who died and those who r trying to fix the reactors and save the EU and America from radiation that can have the same result as Chernobyl u continue being selfish and sad....

  • Thank you for this...may G-d save us all from our folly.

  • THAT is an amazing video, hit me right between the eyes and left tears running down my face!! It seems the World is getting pounded by natural disasters and mankind's "creations" are the ones leaving the deepest path of destruction. I salute the Heroes!! I PRAY the world learns from what's happening in Japan and STOPS building nuclear EVERYTHING!!!

  • god bless the Japanese people and the workers risking their lives at the nuclear plant. Much love from Ireland. X

  • A 30 min. investigative documentary that exposes radiation poisoning among workers inside Japan’s nuclear power industry like those at Fukushima 50:

By Small World Productions Ltd. shown on BBC Channel4 1995.

    Search for "Nuclear Ginza"

Should we be outraged? I think so.

They need it more then ever now! Thank you for making this video. it's very emotional, but these people are very brave!

  • 1.Thank you very much for this heart felt music and video to tribute these brave people. I have heard from people that work with TEPCO. That these men The Fukushima50

They are men that volunteered to stay behind , vowed to fight till the very end to save others.

They are people that were going to retire soon. They told the younger workers to go home to there families. They told them you still have a family to raise. Your children are still young they need you. Our children are

  • 2. grown we have done are duty we will fight for them and Japan. We know this plant than anyone else. If we don’t do this ………

They are educated people they know what is going to happen to them. I can’t imagine how they are feeling. The pain that their family are going through. One of the workers grown child wrote to her father “ Daddy please come home to us safe. Mom is crying , I have never seen her cry so hard” Quote from one of the media.

  • 3.They are true HERO’s Anonymous Hero’s They are fathers,. They are husbands. Fighting in the dark, fighting in the heat, smoke and explosions. fighting a silent killer that they can’t see. There only mission is to save other lives in exchange for theirs. They are true HERO’s

  • Hi there, my committee and I are organising a tribute assembly at my high school for the Japanese girls at our school in NZ, would we possibly be able to play your video? Please?

  • salute with their struggle

  • What a great tribute to the beautiful people of Japan! my thoughts and prayers are with Them!

  • <3 the epic music

  • You know I sat here in LA traffic watching aggressive drivers flip each other off this morning wondering if anyone on this planet ever stops to think how their spoiled lifestyle can change in a blink of an eye and be no more........really, there are more important things in life then getting into that right lane before you do! Thanks for the video......

  • Awesome job Julius!! There are so many people in the world who don't know how to express their feelings about things that matter. Looks like you found a way to show your tribute to those honorable. Anyone can send in money, but few can give of their time. Thanks for your time and all those others who gave of their time thoughout the world in times of disasters, and in this case, a three fold disaster.

  • This video is amazing, you knew every major point about the disaster and made this.

    Fantastic work.

  • What a beautiful job and a great tribute to such an awful moment.

  • What a beautiful job and a great tribute to such an awful moment.

  • @Ghstwn what a rotten thing to write. It is easy to send money, but did you spend even a minute of your day in thought or prayer for the families of these people who gave so much? I, for one would be thankful that someone thought enough of my family member to dedicate some time to them and be thankful for the sacrifices they had made.

In case you hadn't read it, the author wrote the music himself, so he put some time into the making of it and some thought. Honoring someone is a kind thing to do

  • @Ghstwn Hi. I can tell you are jealous or psycho. DO you not watch tv? Are you such a coward? I can see from your comment, that you dont care and did not send any money to help. So, yeah, your talking about yourself now....or your pyscho momma.

  • All people care about Japan,we wish every things is getting batter. haven't bad news from Japan.GOD bless Japanese.

  • Wonderful tribute juliusdobos...Huge disasters, not just one but three..Earthquake, tsunami and then nuke..am near to Fukushima, Japan. atmosphere here is still full with devastation..yet found this nation great and powerful..amazing people

  • Thanks for making this tribute video. I am really inspired by the Fukushima 50.

Looking at all these almost made me drop tears. To those who put their own lives on the line just to save their love ones, their homes, their country and the world. I respect and salute to the warrior of Japan, The Fukushima 50.

  • This is very emotional. sad, thought-provoking and heroic just like the story of these brave men. Great work, will definitely share with friends.

  • Disaster, death, fear...and maybe hope...the music is perfect. grat.
