Man now i know why some people think us eb fans are like a cult. we are so like the happyhappyist as some fans say the world would be better if it was available in all countries
Although I can't tell what they are singing about, my only guess is that Ness's team are going against Giygas, and losing so Paula decides to pray, and the people in the cafe feel it.
I know the comments about this commercial being "sexist" are old, but I just wanted to interject that Itoi (creator of Mother series) commented that he started working on Mother at a time when his older sister (who was obviously an adult) had stopped playing video games. So the "oneesan mo" (which is translated as "young women", but it also means "older sister(s)" is kind of a reference to that.

One question- shouldn't they be singing "Oka-san Go"?
Over9000Wolf 1 year ago
@Over9000Wolf Have you seen the Mother 1+2 CMs? They say it like Motha 12, Well, that's at least what I remember.

I love how the faggot's coffee bubbles at the beginning.
ifuckotters 2 years ago
How is he a faggot? The guy is probably scared shitless that his coffee is bubbling!
Or perhaps its a reference to Mr. Saturn...

Hey weaboo. If you were as smart as you act you would've said:
It's "MOTHER2 ギーグの逆襲" or it's "Mazā Tsū Gīgu no Gyakushū"
Before you go throwing around what is probably the only word in Japanese you know, you might as well do some research to see just how "right" you are.
P.S.
いいえ, あなた は ばか です.
あなた は ういいぶ です.
If you're as profound in Japanese as you act, you got what I just said.

Lol at the blatent sexism.
"...and even young women."
keyburrito 3 years ago
it wasn't intended to be sexist, it was just mean to mean "This game is good for anyone to play"
Pozeal 3 years ago 29
his point is, that who says young women dont already play games? The discrimination is there. Although I agree with you both.
bridgesmatt 3 years ago
Well, look at when the commercial was made, and when the game was made as well.
Although it can be seen as sexist (it's all in the Japanese culture), it explains the commercial's message well.
