  • I went to Calgary, hated it, Red Dear OK, lots of hicks tho, Vancouver, loved it, wages very poor, job offer in Edmonton never got that far as it looked awful, got a job offer in Lethbridge, never took it as i would be working away, looking at this vid i'm glad i never took it, it looks so grey and boring, better the devil you know, think im better off staying in London..

  • I was born in ontario. I moved to Lethbridge in the 70's an have always thought of Lethbridge as my home!!! Great people great city!!!

  • i love lethbridge!

  • First thing you hear is the wind......Yep that's Lethbridge:)

  • Lethbridge reminds me so much of Kamloops, BC. I'm planning on moving to Lethbridge in September 2011 to go to school. Whats your opinion on Lethbridge?

  • @folsom90 Lethbridge is a nice place to live, move to the westside of Lethbridge, nicest part of Lethbridge, safest too

  • @folsom90 Ill tell you right now honestly! I am a student here in lethbridge and it sucks! I'm from Kelowna, BC and trust me its nothing like kamloops. Terrible winters and windy as hell all the time, gets -40. And we still have snow here thats how fucked it is.

  • lol this makes us look like such a hick town. and very blah.

it looks beautiful in the spring though, most of the streets the older ones anyways look really pretty with all the trees.

    cool video though : )

  • Nice music, who is it?

  • @mickflyuk me

  • @mrtrivates Yep, of course, I just looked through your other vids.

    this is a great tune.

  • Hey, my dad's moving me and my family to Lethbridge in the new year, is it a nice place to live? What's the best high school to got to? What is there to do? And what is the shopping like?

Thank you I'm looking forward to experiencing you're home town :)

    Please awnser these questions :)

    xXx Thanks xXx

  • @cadamy4 Your dad is crazy. It's a nice place to live if you believe the lies of Joseph Smith or if you enjoy nature and have a car. High School is overrated anyway so there really isn't an answer for "which one is best?". There is nothing for kids to do unless you enjoy backyard campfires or fire-spinning on Saturday nights. Shopping? We have a mall. it's called Park Place. And no, you can't buy it for $400. Lethbridge is the place where dreams die. Hope you survive.

  • @mrtrivates so you realy like the place

  • @goeland70 oh, I do. Most others dont.

  • @cadamy4 Hi, Lethbridge is a small city, and rather limited. However, some people are very friendly and honest, so I hope you meet the right people. There is a small-town mentality overall, but I imagine you won't spend your whole life here. It is a good place to grow up if you are with the right people. Who are they? Good question. I hope you find some sincere people who genuinly care about the human race and you.

The only high school I worked at was LCI, and it is crowded. west side has one

  • I might be moving to lethbridge soon. so far it seems pretty decent.

what does everyone else think of lethbridge?

  • i live in thos houses behind safeway west

  • @mickiedonnolley I live in a building on 13th street

  • I am sorry you are so angry at women who may have abused your generous soul. I am not a troll, however, and hating bad language may make me "lame" in your eyes, but I still feel offended by it. So take it as you will. I like the idea of doing things together. That's the way it should be. Incidentally, I do believe that the man is the authority, and that a real man gives his woman consideration before making the final decision. I dislike women who try to take over. It's totally inappropriate.

  • @Saphirechevy hey I'm sorry if I said anything hurtful to you. I was having a rough time and YouTube is kind of my venting chamber.

You seem like a very nice lady. I totally agree with everything you've said but it's not necessary for a man to be "Authority". It's a natual reaction for women to RESPOND to it because generally, girls' fathers are strict and it imprints the type of man they should seek.

I currently have a really amazing girlfriend and We are kind of just like how you described.

  • @mrtrivates I am very happy to hear that::) That's wonderful:) It takes work, but it's worth it. I wish you all the best. Apology accepted. My own father WAS strict, actually, very much so, which probably explains my reaction to your comment. He is dead now, but I do love him. Thanks for your response. Take care.

  • @mrtrivates I will continue to look at this particular video from time to time, because I think it's great. I like the music, and I really appreciate that you posted it. I lived here for 8 years, but I am back in Ottawa now. I do miss Lethbridge in some ways, however, and it's great to be able to visit so easily. Thank you.

  • @Saphirechevy My life is starting to make a little more sense. I feel like me and my girlfriend are two crabs trying to help each other out of a barrel and all the other crabs are trying to pull us down. Every day, she tells me of "this person said that or that person hates you" and so forth but more and more she's showing the kind of steadfast loyalty that makes relationships last. She is nothing but wholly amazing. Also - I've been trying to swear less becasue I know it bothers people.

  • @mrtrivates Wow, that's awesome. I know it takes time for one's life to make sense. I am so glad you are becoming more comfortable living in yours:) It helps a lot to have someone on your side. Don't let the other crabs bring you down. Loyalty is one of the most important things in relationships. It sounds like you found a good friend. It's really great that you have appreciation for each other. That will definitely make your relationship last!

  • @Saphirechevy meh - she turned out to be just as lame as all the others. When she broke up with me she started contradicting herself left right and centre. I don't know what the hell she wanted from me but obviously I mistook her for someone else. BaCK to misogyny XD

  • @mrtrivates Wow. Are you serious, or making this up? If not, that is seriously sad...Sorry to hear it.

  • @Saphirechevy I'm sick of two-faced girls who contradict themselves constantly.

  • @mrtrivates Just looking at this video again. Did you know you can now get street view of Lethbridge? It's the first time I can do this. It's awesome to be able to visit this way. I hope you are enjoying your summer.

  • @Saphirechevy Street view is creeepy

  • @mrtrivates I don't find it creepy at all. It's comforting, like being there without the ticket price.

  • @Saphirechevy I'll tell you why it's creepy... outside my girlfriend's house, you can see her daughter's dad's wife getting out of her car and her face can be made out plain as day.

  • @mrtrivates Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Well, that's a whole different scenario, isn't it? I can certainly understand that. Not pleasant for you, I guess.I was just in Lethbridge over the Xmas holidays. A good friend's husband was dying, and I wanted to be with the family before he died, because he had cancer. Yes, had. He died 2 weeks ago, and I am sooo glad I got to see him one last time..:)

  • You wish, redneck moron.

  • Fuck Lethbridge!

  • @itsbrettyo I agree, Lethbridge is also a great place to get laid.

  • @mrtrivates Where do you get laid? All I have met is nerdy prudes.. Where are the real women. This is the worst city i've lived in!

  • @mrtrivates sounds like you're targetting college chicks. Go to the Soundgarden and work it with the cougars. They know what the hell they're doing and will blow your god damn mind.

Also - women respond to the voice of authority. be confident in all you do and they'll try to pick YOU up.

  • @mrtrivates You're a disgusting creep. Also extremely mysoginistic. Look it up.

  • @Saphirechevy fuck you right in your ass.

  • @mrtrivates beautifuly put, of course. Incidentally, is that your version of the voice of authority? lol

  • @Saphirechevy no I'm just sick of trolls. so go fuck yourself. if you're offended by words, you are lame. I don't like being authoritative towards women, I'm more of a nineties man. "Let's make decisions together" and shit. But when I give a woman that kind of power, she just lords it over me, takes me for granted and then breaks my heart. FUCK THAT. I'M THE MAN

  • @Saphirechevy I don't need to look it up, dipshit. I know what it means and I'm about the farthest thing from it.

  • Lethbridge is beautiful, I can't wait to visit! My mom & grandpa were born in the Galt hospital, also my grandfather worked on building the bridge- it'll be surreal to see it all :->

  • @jodisweetie yes it is beautiful:)

You can easily fall in love with the beauty of the place. I will always love the place. There is a charm to the golden fields and blule sky...The people can be friendly and charming also:)

  • @jodisweetie check out my new one - it's way better. The song is actually ABOUT Lethbridge.

  • I live in lethbridge :)

  • @jjgoldenpro me too

  • i live in lethbridge

  • Is there a new Walmart in Uplands?

  • Yep, it's been there for awhile now! I remember when it was all field from 26th to Hardieville! Man how time flies...lol

  • I'll be back next week

  • i want to know there..

  • It's my dream to move to alberta <3

  • i live in lethbridge alberta

  • @MiaMartin24

Do it. I just moved from Ontario and it's the best thing I ever did. I love LA!

  • I'm going to return myself :)

  • If you go to the Karaoke clubs, you will meet my friends sooner or later.

  • prevet, didnt many Russians move here in around 1900? if many of Russian blood still live around this place heres a goody from the old country. watch>>>>>>"Слот - Предательская"...................now ya got fresh party tunes! :)

  • Worst city I've ever lived in...windy as hell, flat with coulees, average amenities, and conservative/religious as hell. A depressing place all around to live in, and after only two years I had to leave because it was so bad. Have fun, Lethbridge dwellers!

  • whatever how people said... i still love lethbridge. it is my first place when i came to Canada.~~

  • haha i live in coaldale..i go to lethbridge all the time

  • On the other hand, the people, although friendly enough and with a great, if dry, sense of humour, are somewhat narrow-minded, and don't give newcomers much of a chance. That is, not if it involves helping them become more successful than their own. You don't get a good job unless someone dies. I almost did, so I had to leave.

  • I love the way you did this. I love the way you get the wind in the video in the beginning, and then go to the song. I love the song too.. Perfect for this video. It is so appropriate, really captures the real feeling behind Lethbridge. Thank you for posting this. I miss Lethbridge, and this really comforts me. Thank you so much.

  • Im moving here in 2010 March!

  • Lived in Calgary 'bout 25-35 yrs ago, now in NY. Loved visiting Lethbridge. Good par

  • "(a) have never left (b) came from somewhere shittier " a) I have lived in a different city, but I still prefer Lethbridge. b) The other placed I lived was much nicer then Lethbridge, but I still prefer Lethbridge, and your c/3rd reason is just plain stupid.

  • I bet if we were to poll those supporting lethbridge, they would either be those that (a) have never left (b) came from somewhere shittier (e.g. Fort Mac) or (c) were Mormon or fundamentalist Christian.

  • Yep :) I love lethbridge! And I am an evangelical Christian :)

  • ive lived in lethbridge my whole life and all i could say its the Religious bastards like you that make this city so dangerous and depressing.. Religion is the number ONE!!!! reason why Lethbridge is the Molestation capital of canada.. there is more molestations that happen in lethbridge due to religious group per day than anyone can imagine and the cops keep it quiet.. the worst church for molestations is the victory church..

  • Molestation is no laughing matter so please save yourself and dont come to lethbridge if your under the age of ten years or the religious fanatics will get you.. they dont even believe in dinosaurs..

  • I am 17... the kids are plenty safe... and I do so believe in Dinosaurs >.>

  • Lethbridge is where the women stand still and the wind is the only thing that blows in that city.

  • hahaha i fucking know!!!!!! i live here and its complete shit!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • The funniest parts of this vid are the bloody comments ...LOL!!

  • deathbridge how i love you

  • tree...tree...street light....coulee....tree....BORING! Lethbridge sucks

  • Lethbridge is the place where dreams go to die. Its run by good for nothing hayseeds and the mormon mafia. Do everything you can to leave and count yourself lucky if you have.

  • Hahaha, ok I loved Lethbridge when I lived there but I find myself digging my claws in when it comes to going back.

But the bit about the mormon mafia had me in stitches. Good luck wherever you ended up man.

  • dreams come to die? and what the fuck is the "Mormon Mafia"

  • Yeah where dreams go to die, because no one has ever had their dreams fulfilled by living or going to Lethbridge; only ruined or wasted potential. The only legitimate reason to live in Lethbridge is if you're a bedshitter waiting out your last days (although there would certainly be better ways to go). Most mormons per capita outside of Utah: Cardston. Next most mormons per capita outside of Utah: Lethbridge! The town is run by hayseeds, car salesmen and the religious right. Nuff said.

  • If you are living for God then you get to see dreams come true. He has changed me dramatically while living here and given me strong roots for when I leave :)

  • fuckin hillbillys go fuck your sisters and cousins

  • anyone who sees the coulees can never forget them. And the bridge, it's a hundred years old, literally! built between 1907-1909. I love living in lethbridge and I won't leave there lightly.

  • Aww familiar sites. I miss Lethbridge sometimes. Met some of my best friends there and had some of best times there.

Just hearing the wind on the camera takes me back haha. Thanks for the video mrtrivates!

  • i live in Cochrane, Alberta but lethbridge still rocks

  • lmao I only go there to watch movies or go to the mall to shop.... I used to live in Taber, Ablerta for awhile. I'm from Manitoba. and only came back to this place to finish my school. I miss it out there.... =[ Be back there soon tho :D lol nice place to live

  • I want to go home to lethy bridge, i am stuck in shit hole costa rica!

  • costa rica is better then lethbridge

  • In your opinion.

  • Ohhh good ol Lethbridge. I dont mind living here. Grew up here, yeah, it's windy, but we dont have friggin murders every week like some larger cities!

  • Lived there for 2 years at university.

There is a reason why most young people call it " DeathBridge" , you know...

It is ok, but I would be so bored to live there for my life...
